  1. I bought my speed/temp late last fall, and I think it has Roughly 300 foot of cable. As for Price.. 9 times outta 10 you cant beat the Fishdog Boys, Mark (adjusted3 on this site) can get you a price pretty quick.
  2. I promise, Larry wont have any Wal-Mart bags onboard and no Super J plugs either ... No Bananas Lets see what else.... Oh yeah, you both have to stay away from the landing net... No farmers
  3. Good to see your finally here. Looking forward to teh Brown Blast, Even if I have to put up with you and Larry
  4. Welcome Mike, I think I had a chance to fish with you and Mark around Thanksgiving on the river. Look forward to fishing with you guys again. And let me think, by my count thats like 3 Mike's on site so far??? Should be easy in the chat, just say mike and odds are one of you will be there
  5. Hi Mike welcome to the Site and thanks for helping get it up and running
  6. 27 pound is the rated strength of the line. You can also get 18 and I believe 36
  7. I use 27 pound, least on the rod I have here, I think I have 27 on the other rods also (Steve??)
  8. Mike, While I agree that spearing isn't very sporting, it is a legal method of "fishing" in Michigan. I see no reason to be "selective" on your posting. While some may find it distasteful, others may enjoy another way to partake of natures bounty in legal methods. Just like snagging years ago, I used to enjoy it, then as I matured and found more sporting ways to take salmon and trout, I moved away from snagging and started light lining and drift fishing. Fortunatly the DNR agreed that it wasn't sporting and for the most part abolished it, hopefully they will likewise abolish spearing but until then, mentioning it as an alternative to sitting on the couch seems fair to me. I dont feel you were promoting it. Just my opinion
  9. Welcome to the site Ken. Yeah lots of Ole freinds here, looking forward to seeing everybody again soon
  10. Does that mean I don't win a prize? It's still a nice haul:D
  11. Yellow shirt RED hat??? Awsome catch Mike
  12. Named when I bought her, bad luck to change it
  13. Yeah I've had the luxury of fishing with Dave, learned alot from him, from everything from tactics to "special" lures... Fishing with him is like a kid in a candy store... sure cut into my bank account, trying it on his boat... "NEEDING" it on mine :) Thanks for the lessons Dave
  14. Again, no standard between MFG's but red, tan brown couple shades of blue, black, silver.... basically buy a spool and if you want it standard, stick with that MFG.
  15. You want to drill a small hole large enough/deep enough to snuggly hold the small 1 1/2 glowsticks in the top of the board. At least thats what I do
  16. I thought I was going to have to figure that all out when I got the rigs, now I can tell them apart sight unseen:D :D
  17. In a full core there are 10 different colors, but I don't believe they are standard between different manufacturers, I know some of them add a color chart with the spool of lead core, I still have one atached to the boat, but it doesn't match the core I currently run.
  18. Got word of a great site starting to help area anglers. Even see a few old friends here and looking forwad to making some new ones.
