nice fish thanks for the fun trips

well the east winds didnt cool off the water as hoped but they did get a few of manistee pier guys on each side of me caught fish throwing same spoon as me but i wasnt lucky enough nice time any ways not very many fish at tippy either had a buddey fish all weekend for 5 fish need some more rain and cold water

headed to ludington sun wife is gonna let me fish never fished lud or manistee pier is it pretty much the same as pier fishing elsewhere ive fished st.joe to gh so not new to it with the east winds which would be better same methods as elsewhere alewives and spoons anything i should know about any help would be nice which is more fisherman friendly thanks have a safe holiday weekend

warm all though i usally catch alot of catfish this early but today not one catfish so it might be a little colder have had some chilly nights

i like frogtoggs thier uper end stuff is very durable i fish in all kinds of weather never get wet very wind proof and very durable frist ones i found that have stayed waterproof and held up to the punishment i put them through not bad on price

it was to cold but now that it warmed up a little there might be a few around not many boats fishing in front

i use mine with no cure have tried and in my experience i really dont make a difference i catch alot without cure so its jusst peresonal preference i do use hearing oil on my spawn sacks just let em soak overnight and there good to go

well fished this weekend water was cold actually i think it was to cold cause the fish were there sat gone sun did manage to catch 5 total for the eekend so it wasnt to bad does anyone else believe that when the lake flips it can be to cold also what worked was shrimp and cut bait on a bobber and heres a new one herring strips on a bobber had a guy using it and was doing alright had a couple on mongolin beef cleo

well fished the pier again last night ended with 40 jumbos 10 st4eelhead and 2 kings its been awile since i seen the pier be this productive the kings hit a blue glow wobbler at daylight the perch were on alwive along with the steel its been along two day without any sleep but well worth it get out and get some of that good fishing the pier has to offer post pics later:lol:

seen the water cooled off so thought would give it a try we fished from 9 pm till 6 am between 3 of us we caught 11 steelhead and 31 jumbo perch i never seen perch off the pier to be that good the smallest was 10 inches when i say jumbo thats what they were very good time the action was pretty steady all night and there was lots of bait arpund

good night of fishing went 4 for 9 on the pier last night the boat were hitting them pretty good in the channel for you pier fisherman you might want totry jigging your spoon back to you raise up and let it flutter down you might be surprisieetrievedame at the results i hooked more than anybodyelse with this technique and only one came on a retrive
