I don't keep a running tally. Probably a lil over 100.
That # is probably close. I let people who don't fish near as much as I do reel in most of them.Sorry Frank.....I should have worded it this way.
How many walleye have been put in your boat this year?

Nice job Nick!

the glf spoon look just like the blue metillic glow frog
When I thought up this spoon, I was working off Stingers Metallic Frog. The Metallic Frog has metallic dust in it. I had them make it with the blue from the Blue Machine, and the yellow from the Bumble Bee, and no metallic dust.
I was not aware of the metallic frog until you made this post.
I spoke with DIRTY DOG today, and he told me Silver Streak makes it. So....I checked out Silver Streak's website. Yes, the GLF is "similar" to the Metallic Glow Frog. There are differences. It was never my intention to create a spoon that looks like someone elses spoon.

Nice job Robert. Those 5lb'ers are the best eaters!
-
Nice job Justin! Make sure you bring your camera.

I am a little confused on this.
The one male was 20.6" when it was tagged 4 years ago. You caught it and it was around 21" 4 years later? Do the male walleyes stop growing?

I was with Craig on his boat, I'm drawing a blank on the name.
Ours had a problem that was fixed yesterday.
I do not know who Craig is. How did you guys do yesterday?
-
I have not swapped out any of the hooks that come with the spoons. I do however sharpen each point so its as sharp as a hypodermic needle.
All of the hooks on any spoon need to be sharpend.

Nice looking package! Rob and Terry going to put those into production? I have been prying on them for a glow back reverse ghost and am hoping to see that one soon as well!!
I am pretty sure you can order the killer green dolphin. This was made by adding the tape to a spoon they already have painted. I am not sure about the GLF because it is a completely custom spoon.

Nice year you had Adam! Time for the arm and shoulder work out on the West side of the state.
Have you heard of any reports of silver fish from the East side of the state?
-
Good job Mike.
They shut down for us when the sun came up yesterday also.
You even got a little piece of my boat in the first picture.
Did you go out on your boat, or with someone else yesterday?
-
haha I'm just jokin with ya! Did you pick out the patterns or do they pick which ones?
Also I sent you a PM with a question about Saturday.
It was a joint effort between the manufacturers and myself.
-
You pre-fishing with the baits we're getting on Saturday Mike?!
NO!
I received the last of the lure package from the UPS man tonight.

Stinger - Stingray Size - Freakin Veggies
Stinger - Stingray Size - NITRO Natural Born Killer
Stinger - Stingray Size - GLF <----I had this spoon created just for this event, and named it after myself!

Second row, left to right.
Silver Horde - Double GLow EX Green/Plaid/Ultra-Violet

Protroll Prochip 8 - Fin Fl Glow Chartreuse

Trying to put together a lure package from 4 different manufacturers is not an easy task. Some of you may like this package, and some of you may not. It is what it is! Everyone will get the EXACT same lure package! Its your job to catch the fish!

Thank you Protroll, Siggs Rigs, Silver Horde, and Stinger for sponsoring this event!

I was joined by Rudy, Ken, Mike, and Steve today for a trip out of Muskegon. We ended up 9 for 9. 8 kings and 1 coho. 2 of our fish were over 18, with the biggest pushing 20!

Things started off with a BANG, and then after a short time we were washing baits.
This is what we took fish on today.
2 on a NITRO Green Fireball
1 on a NITRO Natural Born Killer
1 on a Killer Dolphin
1 on a Silver Horde Ace HI mother of pearl
1 on a Sivler Horde Blue Mylar
2 on an 11" Protroll Double Pearl Fishscale with a Siggs Rigs Brushed Stainless
1 on an 11" Protroll Blue, with silver prism tape, and a Siggs Rigs Aqua Glow Pulse fly.
Here is Rudy, Mike, Ken and Steve with 8 of our 9.

2009 Great Lakes Fisherman's Challenge *CANCELLED*
in Tournaments
Posted
The 2009 Great Lakes Fisherman's Challenge has been cancelled for BOTH days.
Mother nature did not cooperate with us this year. The forecast is for 3-5' waves on Sunday morning, with winds blowing 15mph to 25mph out of the Southwest. Half of the boats entered in this years challenge are 20' and less.
Everyone will get their lure package and a refund of their entry fee.
I will be in Muskegon tonight by 5pm. Give me a call if you would like to pick up your lure package.
If you are not from the Muskegon area, send me your shipping information in a private message, and I will ship you your lure package and refund you the $30 entry fee(minus the cost of shipping).
There will be a Great Lakes Fisherman's Challenge at the same time next year.
