Thats a good point Mike. I normally run mine just so the line doesnt pay out. Then when i get a big fish on, ill back it off and let them get rid of all that pissin' vinegar!
Thats exactly what I do.

Nice job Mike, thanks for the report. I checked the Web Cam a few times last night and go a few images, but none with any fish on.
Thats because we did not get many.

I moved the camera to the top of my top, instead of inside it and further to the front. Other than not seeing any fish, how did it work?

Fished out of Muskegon last night and ended up 3 for 5. Left the dock around 5pm, and was pulling the lines at 11:30pm, when we connected with our 3rd fish that ended up in our box.
We caught fish from 120-150FOW.
Wire divers on 2 with a mag ring, and 200' of line out with an 11" Protroll double pearl fish scale with a Siggs Rigs brushed stainless tropy fly went twice.
Wire diver on 2 with a mag ring and a Stinger prochip 8 glow frog with a Siggs Rigs apple glow pulse fly went once.
Full core with a 4oz dive bomb and NITRO natural born killer went once.
Full core with a 4oz dive bomb and NITRO area 51 went once.

Nice job guys. I almost did the same thing on the P1 last year when the drift sock broked loose and the rope wrapped in the prop.

Nice job Mike!

Nice job Robert!
You should loosen up the drag on a wire diver when you first hook up with a fish. There is ZERO stretch in the wire. After the fish has made a couple of runs, you can add some drag.

Been seeing some pretty good reports. There should be some nice shots tonight.
I tested the camera after dark. I have lighting on the back of my boat and the camera will work.

Did you scoop them up with the net, or did you lip them?

I remember doing that on Lake Michigan when we were perch fishing out of South Haven.

Leaving on the 20th for a 5 day stay at Hartshorn. Grew up in Potterville.
I will be up there the 22 and 23 for the GLFTT events. My boat is slipped at Bluffton Bay.

Nice job Richard. I never caught a walleye, while trolling for slamon, but I did get a 3.5lb smallmouth while trolling for salmon a couple of years ago.
