Does anyone have a good website to check whitefish reports? I know I am in the Salmon section but give a greenhorn a break...

There will be whitefish reports posted here when the whitefish come in.

I absolutely love carbon arrows! My bow is set at 63lbs. I shoot Gold Tip carbon arrows, Hunter XT 5575 with 100gr Thunderheads. This is a very flat shooting combination.
I have shot a dozen deer with this arrow/broadhead combination. 90% of the deer I have shot have been a pass through shot.

If its brown its down.....Got to feed the family somehow. I think the does are better eating anyway!I think the does are the best eating also.
Always a good idea to get rid of the smart ones. :thumb:I guess she wasn't that smart after all.
Usually the does are the smart ones.
Congratulations Mike. Good to get the pressure off and have some meat in the freezer.I did not get a deer last year, so the pressure is off now.

I whacked a doe tonight. I wasn't going to shoot her, but she kept staring at me in the tree. She would start to look down, and quickly look at me again. She did this for a couple of minutes. I think she was checking to see if I was going to move.
Well....her game got the best of her, and I decided to let her have it. Fresh tenderloins for me.

I am still working on this area.
So far, I created a Walleye Fishing Reports Section with 7 forums for walleye fishing reports.
I still have a few loose ends to wrap up.
-
I have added a few new sections that were mentioned above.

Mine will be going in heated storage at Water Front Storage. It has been there the last 2 winters.

A open classifieds section that you don't need to be a supporting member would be nice. I realize its not free to put on this website but I would think you should be able to support it with more ads. IMO
You are not the only one who feels this way.
At one time the classifieds were free. If you sold something you were suppose to make a donation to the website. After over 1.5 years and numerous items beings sold on the website, there was zero donations.
I do not want a website clustered with advertising, so I am not planning on adding any other advertising besides what is at the top.
I use to visit another website. It became so commercialized, I stopped going to it. Their perk for supporting members is that you do not have to view all the ads.
I checked other websites to see what they charge to place an ad. I also know what it costs to place an ad in the boat trader or the newspaper.
I considered making the classifieds a pay per ad. Members would have to pay a small fee each time they wanted to place an ad. I thought everyone would get a bigger bang for their buck by being able to post unlimited amounts of ads in a year, double the gallery size, a larger private message limit, and access to a private area of the website.
vBulletin is coming out with a new version for their software. They will no longer let people pay the $60 annual fee for upgrade support. This means I have to purchase a new license to keep the site up to date and secure.
I am open for ideas and will listen to what others have to say about this.

Welcome aboard John. Thanks for taking a minute and doing an introduction!

I am in the process of redoing the walleye section, so a few things may get moved around.

I am always open for ideas on how to make this website better. If there is something you would like to see added to it. let me know and I will consider it.
Thanks,
Mike

The walleye section has been need of some up grading. I am in the process of redoing the walleye section. I am moving all of the Saginaw Bay and other walleye fishing reports to this section.
Once this is reorganized it should be easier to navigate. This will keep the walleye and the salmon sections seperate.
I should have it wrapped up in the next couple of days.

is orange killer an nbk variation?
Looks just like an NBK, but only orange instead of green.
This is one of my favorites on a gold hammered blank in May.

I have two 32" bags made by Amish Outfitters. Having twins, my boat trolls slow enough when using one engine. I will use the bags when the waves are bigger for better boat control.

Nice job guys!

Nice job under the circumstances. I fished in the channel last year in Muskegon and gave up after a one trip through the channel because of all the weeds I hade to keep clearing.
Any size to the brown trout? Is it common to catch brown trout in the bay?

I would only like to go back 20 years in time.

You know whats a shame.....When you park at a ramp, fish for the day, come back and your vehicle has been broke into. This happens alot at BH.
