went out after work with a fellow co-worker set lines in 70 ft of water and went west to 135 and made a south turn. on the turn picked up a 5lb king 50 down on the rigger with a blue and black glow flintsone spoon. about half way to the first slide the ten color went with a moonshine spoon picked up another small king about 6lbs. turn back north after that got back out in front of the pier heads in 120 and the same rigger went with the blue spoon but came on done only felt the fish for a few seconds. fished till dark went 2-3 had a hard time keeping the lines clear of fleas. any one know the names of these spoon please let me know thks

i made my own set this past spring and all the holders are at 45's. i just staggered them down the pole so the top holder is towards the front of the boat a little the middle one is centered and the bottom one is set a little towards the back of the boat. i think i off set each one about 2 degrees and they work really well.

teresa and i took our grandaughter kira crappie fishin tonight didnt catch alot of fish but had lots of fun on her first trip ever. went to a lake over by bloomingdale and guess whos there dirty dog. the bite was pretty slow i think due to the brite sun out. we fished along the lillies with minnows under a bobber. the dog seemed to do a little better but we had a little one taking up most of our fishin time she just turned 3 and if your wondering she lost her hair with a fight of canser this past winter but made it through every thing ok thk god

finally got my new boat NO MO BEGGEN ready to fish this past week and made it out with my wife and sea-mac this morning. ended up 2-3 fished 15-20 ft. of water from the peir south. first fish was a 14 inch white bass that came on a blue and silver stick bait. second was a big fish hooked up in 16ft. of water on a blue-green dolphin and a 3 color just south of the peir kept taking line and got loose never did see it. third fish was a nice coho about 5 lbs. right in front of the peir heads as we were heading in. this came on a blue circus freek and a 3 color also. not a bad first trip sence we didnt need a tow did have 2 problems 1 with the radio could receive good but did not send well and the boat will not idle down any slower than 3.8 - 4.1 mph on the gps so i got a couple of things to work out. but got slime and scales in the boat

i like p-line i use 8lb in the river for steels and tend to bend the hooks before it will break on a snag so i am planing on useing it on the big lake also. ties up nice and seems to resist abrasion very well
-
just kind of happens that way but thats ok the more she catches the more i get to go lol
dirving fine with me aslong as im on a boat lol. to bad the rivers will be messed up for a few days now. that just means i got a few days to start putting the boat together if the rain quits
