hey im going out sunday morning with a guy from work wondering if anyone had a report for holland
-
i was wondering if anybody has had any luck inside the channels or around the pier heads yet
-
i think baiting is fine as long as people do it with in reason and dont have mount rushmore out in the woods as a bait pile lol.
-
the brine that i use is pretty simple and isn't salty tasteing like some ive had its one large bottle of soy sauce, half of a 16oz.bag of brown sugar and half a bottle of liquid smoke hickory flavor usually. mix that together with about a cup of warm water so sugar desolves.then i add my fish after adding the fish i add cold water till the fish is covered and set in fridge over night.the brine gives the fish a sweet smokey flavor but not over whelmingly sweet.dont worry about the salt theres enough in the soy sauce to cure the meat.as far as smokers i just use a standered size charcoal smoker for about three hours and just enough charcoal to cover the bottom with apple wood.

it was still a good outing even with no fish got a chance to meet a couple of new people and had a nice day on the water to do it
-
i would think any bit of atraction like color would help the fish take a second look regardless of where it comes from.
-
ive heard of people useing sent like wd-40 or cod oil not sure it works though never tried
-
we'd all have birds like that if we had the horse feeder like you do, lol
-
mine was double bearded also but yours puts mine to shame thats a good bird.
-
i think the first few times you go out its more about numbers, but after that some nice 20 and over fish would be great
-
the charter companies wont feel a thing they'll just charge more to go fishing and the average person really wont be able to afford to go charter fishing
got a deer
