Pulled lines at 10:30 and headed in with a green crew member.
had a good time,
boat ran great, (one small leak in the dash)
thanks to the crew.

Nice job. Woke up at four, checked the weather, and with my girls as crew in a 14' I went back to bed and woke up at 10.
Looks like my nine year stretch of being the only one to weigh Brown's in the w m f l came to an end this week...
Kevin,
46 out of the 52 fish at the weight in were browns.

I hope to get the result posted later tonight.
the weather held out for us and we had a total of 14 boat at the weight in.
That was the most amount of Brown trout I have every see. Great Job
A Big Thanks to Blood Run Tackle for your support.
Pictures from the event are posted here.

We are a go.

Wow, let hope for good weather, I have been either fishing or holding the WMFL events for the past 5 years, 21 boats in is the most I recall ever seeing on the signup list.
let's keep this number all summer long.
-
Dave,
add 2 more boats that don't get here on GLF very often. both are weather dependent.
Undertow
Little Bobber
everyone else, remember a few things:
Check back here on the site Friday night after 9pm or early Saturday morning, if the weather is bad.
• We will fish predicted seas of 1-3' or less. (or game day call)
• If small craft advisories are in effect we, will not fish.
Have your Radio on 72 during the event - I will do a roll call around 7am.
Current Weather looks cold and light BUMPS, lets hope for the best.

Decided to sell my boat this year. Does anyone need a crew member? I will gladly pitch in for gas.
Call me. Have room on mine. Or undertow is looking for one.

Good job Jimmy

A big thanks to Gregg @ BloodRun Tackle for helping out our group. it looks like 14+ boats signed up at this time. :thumb:
that great -
If you do fish this weekend please make sure to take the time to thank BloodRun for the continued support of the WMFL and post a report here on GLF.
I will also be taking pictures of each boats fish and crew, so wear your happy face.
-
Terry, DNR Limit - So you have two guys on your boat, you could weigh 5 browns,
yes, your big fish needs to be one of your 5 fish.
also Terry if you are fishing this weekend give me a call.
-
I drove out last night, looks ready to fish. was watching web cam today at lunch, seen a small cruiser boat run in off lake.
-
Very nice.
-
?? is he still at the photo shoot set, Hawaiian Tropics
-
They planted 57k Brown's in Frankfort last year.
that's going to be a haul in the row boat Kevin.
-
Sign up for our first event.
Blood Run Tackle is our first sponsor for the year.
Great company and products from right here in West Michigan.
One thing different for the weigh in this year, I would like to get pictures of crew and fish to share back here on GLF.
Let's hope for some warm weather over the next two weeks to help melt that crap pile of ice that is still hanging out in front of the Holland pier head.
any questions please PM me here on GLF
-
Ok - so it shall be that WMFL you can start any port, but must be at the weigh in at 1pm.
Scott, I will send you a pm on suggestions as to where you can park boat during Weigh in.

Off the Market, going to run the old girl this summer.
-
Great price on the boat Jim, should have no issues selling.
I've seen this boat and it's a great setup. It will make someone a great fishing boat for not a lot of cash.
good luck with the new boat this summer.
-
nice job Kevin, I hope Holland open's up soon, don't feel like pulling the boat south.
-
Both of my batteries are NAPA Marine Deep cycle. I have 4 years on one, 6 on the other. both are still holding a charge very well, but I expect to replace both at some point this season.
currently I don't have the graph / electronic separated from the starting battery, but I think I will do so when I change the batteries.
I usually run just 1 battery, normal trolling. if I have a full boat and the fridge is going to be running for the guest, I will switch it to dual mode.
-
I'll share my dock box with you, just leave all your good lures for me to use....
heres the new jimbobber
