Based on the current condition of the lake I'm going to call it now. WMFL for Saturday July 20th is now called off.
I will hand out the Silver Streak stuff at the next event.
I'm going to try and still get out to fun fish on Sunday so if anyone is out give me a shout on 68 and let me know how your doing.
Be safe if you do try it on Saturday

Nice job Dan, and thanks for the report

I'll be doing the same guys. I will keep an eye on the weather buoy and forecast. any thing in that 3-4 range I'll be staying at the dock as well. I took the day off with the plan to fish today, stayed home instead. do have a nice breeze today - but it is still HOT.
-
current NOAA forecast shows that it will be bumpy but no small craft
-
Anybody try one of these yet?
Also where can I find them here in west Michigan?
Outdoorsmen in jenison does not carry them

Just confirmed with Chip last night, Silver Streak will be sponsor of this event.

Okuma was coming out with a new wire rod for Great Lakes fishing this spring. I saw them up in Pentwater at the bait store. looked like a great rod and the cost was still better than the Blue Diamond rod. I'm sure lakeshore or the the outdoorsman would have them in stock by now.
I'm running two types of wire currently, what was spooled on the reel from the outdoorsman (so I'm "not sure" what brand) on two of my reels, the other two are spooled with Blood Red, both work great.

The Holland WMFL and myself thanks Big Weenie for continued support of these small leagues.

Sunday picked up. 6 trout. 1 king for the three of us.

The one on sherman? Doesn't matter. I would not stay w/ boat at any motel in Muskegon. And I'm from there. May be better to drop boat at a marina for the night. Or leave it at fisherman's landing

It was a little bumpy Sunday. Good job
