I run 10# balls, I have tried the pancakes, as mark stated anything over 60-65 feet down and they like to swim. after wrapping them together a couple times in strong down current they went up for sale. which reminds me they never sold.
I also have a set of 15# balls, but my old cannons told me to kiss off - I'm not lifting that.

Nice job Dave

Sounds like great trip

very nice, must not plan on using that door in the back ground.
-
Stick with it, it has to get better in the next couple of weeks.
-
the kitty is very popular right now. hope it picks up soon.

Cool stuff Mark, and go ahead put that Buzz Light Year on the rigger down about 30', that would be a blast to get a fish on.

Good job Dave. It was really slow. Had a crew member fall asleep and almost fell out of his seat

6am Started in 100 fow straight out of Holland. heading NE, then SW all the way out to 200.
had every thing out that we could try, 500, 400, 300, 300, coppers never went tried spoons and even a couple plugs.
Riggers - keep moving them from 40 down to 140 down.
Dispys 120 back to 280 back.
10 am first rigger went at 45 down on a BLL flat line.
Thanks Larry of Big Lake Lures for sponsoring this event.
pulled the coppers put out a 3 color, 7 color, and 2 150 coppers. still nothing on high lines.
11:30 same spoon went again on the rigger - lost the fish at the back of the boat trying to un tangle it from the wire diver.
5 mins later the wire diver on the other side went. 11" white paddle with a custom alof big hair fly.
pulled lines and headed in. great day out on the lake, thanks to Alex and Josh for helping out today.

Slow day.
left dock 6 am setup in 60-70 fow. 3 for 4
2 lake trout that we kept, 10" king released
lost another lake trout at the back of the boat.
had a first timer on board from work, and Bob "Cora Lee" thanks for coming along.
I recall the white paddle on inside diver taking 1 fish.
the small king came on a 3 color st. out the back with an orange and black thin fin.
the other two I don't remember what they came on. I should "Write Stuff Down".
pulling lines had a 300' super copper, board, and spoon that came in on one of the inside wire divers. we were dragin' bottom looking for more green fish. no name on board so I guess we ended up with a bonus this trip. Just like your homework in school, you need to put your name on it. you stand a good chance of getting it back.
great day on the water, the lake was very nice this past weekend.

I pick a set up this spring, one of the best bags on the market. I went up to Manistee to pick mine up and spent some time with Dick Boyajian. great guy to talk to worth the trip, even at $4+ per gallon.

Bob, Carlisle is who did my trailer two years ago as well.

Nice job Wheels - I need to make it out your way some time this summer.
-
Dave, I know Nick of Paulywood will be in town this week, but has to work this weekend.
-
Good job in the rough water.
-
Congratulations buddy.

We do the your side / My side contest all the time when were fun fishing.
our setups are very similar to Dave's.
white paddles inside and deep.
if spoons are taking fish - they will also go on the riggers, sometimes with fixed sliders.
spoons or plugs on the high lines. I have run smaller 8" flasher off high lines, but with a 50% tangle rate.

thanks for the report Mike

My Engineering department shut down last week. We lost the T1 line and they could not access Google....
