  1. Sweet, I'm doing the same thing. Where did you purchase those at? I got the new cabales catalog, and I noticed they now have Shorelander trailer LED's lights.

I got them from Gander Mtn. These are Optronics replacement lights. I saw Cabelas had Optronics replacement lights for $65, or $80 for the complete wire kit. I paid $50 at Gander for the pair.

  2. So the boat came out of storage today. I put new LED trailer lights on and I have to say I am impressed! I'll be sure to be seen with these things, even during the daylight. I nearly was rear-ended last year and I hope this will help me be seen.

  3. Not much added for fishing equipment but a few new spoons. Otherwise, it's a new head gasket, fuel pump, rebuild the carbs, and add LED lights for the trailer. After all that is done, see how much money is left and may look into getting set up for divers (rods, and heavier duty rod holders).

  4. So my wife and I bought our first house. We have been volunteering at the SPCA shelter in Kalamazoo and we finally chose our new companion. Meet Kensie, a 4 year old spaniel/labrador mix. She is a sweetheart and we are glad to give her a great home. We are going to make a tent so she can ride the bow while we are fishing

Portage, MI. (In transit within Portage area)

Lk. Michigan: South Haven. Lk. Huron: Port Austin/Grindstone. Lk. Superior: Munising Bay.

Only about two years salmon fishing experience. Been fishing entire life.

The "Troll 'N Yooper" is a 17' Tracker Deep-V with 40 hp Evinrude.

Wife is from the U.P. so we fish up there alot. Got the boat about two months after we were married. Love perch fishing in South Haven, bass and walleye fishing in Port Austin and salmon and trout in the U.P. Learned most about salmon fishing from this site and trial and error. Love all the info and discussion this site provides. But we fish mostly inland lakes for bluegills and anything else, but salmon fishing has gotten into our blood over the past years.

  6. My wife and I volunteer at the SPCA in Kalamazoo. Don't know if you're set on a puppy, but there is a beagle there named "Arnold" that has one heck of a nose on him. Not sure of his background, but can check for you if you'd like. He is one of my favorites and I would love to see him go to a good home.

  7. My wife and I finally are pulling the trigger on our first house, so now I'm broke. For Sale:

Thule three bike rack. Fits into 2" trailer reciever. $60

Big Jon planer board mast. 2 reels with 2 spare reels (one missing a handle), 2 riviera catamaran boards, 2 aluminum rod holders, and extra planer board line. $150

McPherson Olympus Bow. 27-55 lb. draw weight. 65% let off. Includes quiver, 4 aluminum arrows, 5 Muzzy 100 grain broadheads, various releases, nock pliers, nocks, 2 fiberglass arrows (one without broadhead), and line reel. Sorry, no bow case. Bow was used mostly for carp shooting. $100

Single Arrow Fletching Jig. Includes 5" orange and white plastic fletchings and fletching cement. $20

Four homemade 10lb. downrigger balls. Free to whomever would like to pick them up.

I would prefer pickup over shipping. I live in Portage/Kalamazoo. Will meet half way if needed. PM if interested. Thanks.
