That fat Atlantic go acrobatic on you?

John....the meathead holding the fish makes it look even prettier. Where in the hell did you find him at...and were you able to keep the crown bottle out of his mouth!!!

I may have forgotten to mention the, "It's also about who you know" factor. lol.
Very true. I am not a "big" tournament fisherman. I used to fish a lot of smaller northern tourneys and one TT event a year until i decided to have a munchkin!! That should start to change now that she is getting older now and have had plenty of time to complete my honey-do lists! I have had pretty consistent results in the tournaments i have fished and have managed to win a couple smaller tourneys and just wasn't afraid to put a resume together, however small it may have been, and ask some of the guys. I ended up with help from Big Jon, Stinger, Protroll and "KNEW" someone with BRP and ended up getting a TON of help from Evinrude and i think i am the only one on the evinrude team that doesn't make six digits a year fishing:grin:

BW, when you say imitation are you talking about a felt strip soaked in oil?
-
Nice haul Russ! I see flies in your pics. Is that mainly what you are catching them on?
-
Those stripers are nice size. Much more broad than the ones that we caught with Pochos fleet. Capt Andres was our captain as well:thumb:
-
Nice work Matt! Any captain would be luck to have a young guy like yourself so eager to get involved!! Great to see:thumb:

IF you have not checked yours lately please check them now.
We had a fire at our home that totaled the inside and while it was not our detector that saved us had we been sleeping it would have been our only warning. The fire started in a back bedroom and when I first dsaw it it was very small on a wall and mattress by the time I made to the kitchen for water and backl to the bedroom the fire had engulfed the mattress and was up the wall and all ove the floor. So It was time to get the kids and wife out.
While I called 911 on my cell I got brekly PD and they had to transfer me to Royal oak. The fire dept was there with in 10min of the call and were excellent with the kids.
Thanks Steve Kelly and Family
Sorry to hear about the Fire, but am glad to hear no one was hurt. The other thing to think about is proper placement of the detectors themselves. Awareness is key:thumb:

The Coho fishing in munising has been very good this year, but they are running a little small. Still great table fare!!
