Great job guys. You are braver than I. I took one look at the trees bending over in my driveway and decided to mow the lawn instead.
-
Holy smokes. I thought that was a two foot cooler. That was a 36. wow.
Nice work.
-
WOWZA. What do you even call that? A sixer?
Great job Phil.

I had a great weekend. Thanks again Mike. Always a pleasure fishing with you and the boys. MAN was that funny when hunter made fun of Glen. Don't worry Glen, I have knocked off plenty in my time too. Great looking board from Don and good looking fish.
-
Great work. Hope to see you out in PS this summer. Thanks for the report.
-
That is awesome. He's got a head start on a great career of fishing.
-
NICE.
Limited out then?
You the man.

Great job out there Ken. Thanks for the report.

Nice job Plum. We got 13 last night, but kind of the same thing. Nothing for a long time and then all of a sudden 2 or 3.

Sorry for the late report.
Fished all night and then had to haul butt to muskegon in the morning to fish with GLF in Muskegon.
Went 13 for 14 with my wife DeAnna, my buddy Scott (Rough Diamond) and Jay (Iceman08) and his wife Carol. After a slow start we had a riot.
Couple doubles, almost lost a 5 color and board, ended up picking it up on the full core. It was lucky, AND we landed a 10 lbs king at the same time.
went went out a little deep to find temp and did not find it. it was COLD.
160fow, 65 down 41 degrees. Didn't matter how deep, pretty much stayed the same. Did pick up a few out there, but in closer worked better as we found temp up to 45.5.
Here are the fish. We had time to weigh some, but had to guess on others.
1. 160fow, 5lb 2oz steelhead, 3 color yellow machine, south troll
2. 160fow, 12lb steelhead, 5 color, mag glo xmas, south troll
3. 145fow, 7lb 6oz king, 300ft copper, mag nbk, NE troll
waited forever
4. 100fow, 7lb 12oz king, 300ft copper, mag nbk, E troll
5. 100fow, 9lb king, full core, mag nuclear waste, SE troll
6. 100fow, HUGE 1lb 3oz king, full core, mag green dolphin, SE troll
7. 100fow, 4lb laker, 65down on the rigger, nuclear waste, S troll
8. lost 120fow 5 color, glo xmas
9. 110fow, 5lb king, 65 down on the rigger, slider, nitro area 51, S troll
10. 115fow, 10lb king, 5 color, carmel dolphin mag, S troll
11. 115fow, 8lb king, 65 down on rigger, nitro area 51, S troll
12. 120fow, 7lb atlantic salmon???? - ugly, 3 color, nitro et, S troll
13. 130fow, 9lb king, 300ft copper, nitrok nbk, N troll
14. 95fow, 10lb king, 3 color, nitro snow snake - great end to the night.
All in all it was a lot of fun and everyone on board did a great job.

Have a great holiday everyone.

Hmmm 27' Amberjack. I know someone who fishes that boat.
-
WOWZA. That is a wall hanger. Nice work.
-
Totally awesome. I bet those 225 can get to the "hot spot" fast.
-
I think I got them online (Cabelas). I'll get the name brand off the label this weekend and get you the information. They work nice. they are metal with a poly coating which protects the rods during the rough rides.
-
Nice work and thank you for the report.
How was the water? Other than wet of course.
-
Great work Jim. 8 for 11 on a shakedown is amazing.
-
Nick, that sure is a pretty boat. Nice work in the tourney and thank you for taking it over. I hope to get to as many as I can out of PS this season and look forward to kicking you butt next time.
-
That is a SWEET fish Hunter. Nice work.
Love the smiles from the kids. Hilarious.

I run medium Okuma Classic 8'6 rods on my 3 and 5 color.
I run Medium Heavy 9' mooching rods on my full core.
That way they pull about the same (bend) and I can see if I have a fish on easier in the tree.
I run the new grey downrigger rods (8'6) from okuma in the riggers. They flex like crazy and are really fun to catch fish on. I just switched them out. Last year I ran classic 8'6 rods (like on the 5 and 3 color) in the riggers and they ran fine. This year I put those on my high lines in the spring.
Dipseys are rulling on blue diamond 10' roller rods. Quite honestly, they could be a little shorter (9') and I would be happier.

GLF taught me to twist the line about 12-15 times before you put it into the release.
We never get slipping and the release is always clean and easy. Fishsniffer and Nailer are right. Use the tension screws on the black until you get it right, then you never have to mess with it again.
-
Too bad about the tourney, but great weekend of fishing. Nice work.
-
Very brave fishing today Ken. Great work and very nice 16lb fish.
-
Great to see you again Jim and crew. Nice job out there. Wish I could have witnessed you "flying".
-
15 lb greasy chicken, you might need some floor dry for the boat. Nice work on all the fish. 4 in the 18lb range is awesome.

Nick work Nick. I fooled my wife into fishing a few weeks back too after a pleasure cruise to GH.
