Well it is getting nice out and I am getting the bug to hit the water. The Boat is still in the barn till next month. I have had several guys respond to my offer actually enough to have a overcrowding problem. Well sort of I have fished with more on the boat but it gets tough to move and seating is limited. What I am thinking is haveing a get together at my house on a Sat and inviting everyone. This will give me a chance to meet all the guys who have responded and see how well well all get along cause I prefer to fish with friends and as my wife point out all the time I have very little tact. My problem is I am honest and straight forward but worst of all I am not politically correct. I actually say what I think when asked so I can take some getting used to. So my wife suggested I come with a warning label that state opinions expressed by her husband are not that of the management. Right now my plans are to fish in the GLFTT events and the WMFL events so I don't expect large budget commitment from anyone. I would love to get into some of the bigger tournies but really just want to have fun and fish.

Congrats! In my 40 years of Bluegill fishing I've only got one at or over 10".

(non hybrid of course) Makes for a nice tasty meal.

took a buddy to a lil local lake tonight and got my 1st MA Gill of the year... we fished for just over an hour just to get some for dinner tonight and feed the thirst for some gills before our trip to white lk in the morning enjoy

hey GLF i gave him my vex when i was at 15 fish.... he refused to move because he was cold, he dont jig, me and terry watched him miss fish right in front of us!! lol sea mac should stick to the big lake lol but it was a great day, great time on the ice,

fished with Terry and Mike aka 1 fish wonder me and terry both got limits of specs and sea mac.. got... 1 FISH! lol! my fish came on a pink and white gander mt jig with a waxie 19 fow fish were suspend 15-10 got my limit in 2 hours.... good luck and fish on!

i plan on fishing whitelake for some perch/gills/pike/lil kids on saterday morning if anyone is interested

fished LL yesterday, in 20'-30fow we ended up with 13 eyes 15"-20" nice eaters, hot colors where clown, parrot, and firetiger, also managed a few on a dead stick minnow rig, night bite was much better then morning lots of guys, GL

i got my 1st limit of gills and some specs today

20 gills and 5 specs are mine the others were his

went out today had 4" of ice we fished for a while super slow but we got 15 nice gills and 1 ok spec. Also got 5 flags with 2 fish landed 1 legal fish
