  3. WENT TO 190 FOW SET LINES AND TROLLED OUT TO 245 WITHOUT A HIT:confused: GOT A TIP FROM A GUY TO GO NORTH AND HIT A SCUM LINE IN 238 ,HEADED THAT WAY AND HOOKED TWO FISH BUT LOST THEM ON 300 COPPER WITH GREEN SPINIE WITH A PICKLE SUNSHINE FLIE THEY WERE LAKERS I THINK. GOT TO THE SCUM LINE BUT COULD NOT GET ANYTHING THERE EITHER SO WE TURNED IT EAST, HIT 185 FOW AND STARTED TO MARK BAIT AND BANG HIT TWO SMALL KINGS 5 AND 8 LBS ON FREE SLIDER WITH A NBK JP SLAMMER ON A RIGGER DOWN 55. THEN PULLED LINES AND FOUND A SMALL HITCH HIKER KING ON A 3 COLOR OF LEAD SO WE ENDED UP 3 FOR 5 ON THE NIGHT. THE TOP WATER WARMED UP 20 DEG UP TO 66 DEG FROM SAT 46 DEG. BUT THE WATER DOWN 50 WAS STILL 48 DEG. IT WAS A BEUTIFUL EVENING TO BE ON THE WATER.:thumb:

  4. went looking for offshore feesh last night found a temp break in 170 fow went from 46 to 54 deg on the surface, even the air was warmer there. fished west to 200 fow ended up 9 for 12 with 190 being the best. every thing was in the top 50 foot,2,3,5 color of lead, riggers down 38and 55,high divers back 100 set on 3,low wire divers back 65 set on 1. spoons and spinnies in green combos worked very well. the fish are 5 to 8 lb kings, lakers, and steelhead lots of fun to catch cus they seem to come in bunches. They are still getting some 4 yr olds at the pierheads both holland and saugatuck just becarful in saugy the charter guys will cut you off just as quick as look at ya!I guess thats combat fishin thats why i fish offshore this time of year:D
