L to R Mel D, Myself, and Jack W. managed a 3 man limit out of AuGres. We fished 36-40 FOW pulling 9 lines. We had two rods with 3oz bouncers and meat over the sides. We had 7 inline boards rigged with 2 oz bouncers and crawler harnesses. All the action was near the bottom. We had 2 nice fish come unbuttoned close to the boat, one being in the 7-8# class. Same old colors Chartreuse, Red, and purple. Gitter Done.
I'll fish tomorrow, but then I'll turn the fishing over to the weekend warriors. I'd rather steer clear of the crowds, on holiday weekends. Some of the things that go on at the ramps and the lake really bug me. For the most part it's a different scene on weekdays.
Anyone venturing out over the holiday weekend, BE SAFE.

It doesn't matter if it's a bundle of cash, or a $20 planer board. An honest person is an honest person. ^5s and hats off to the sportsman who returned your board.

Actually we fished AuGres and was in 13-43 FOW. We were all over the map trying to find some active fish. We boated more trash fish today than in the last 2 years. We pulled some fish shallow and deep and everything in between. We didn't limit but ended the day with 16 walleye and a bonus perch. The fish seemed to be scattered after the LP system and storms moved through. Thanks Paperboy for helping out on the boat. Gitter done.

This one sounds like a winner. BLTs are a Summer ritual here.

Try the reef area. Outside the reef if the water is stained, and inside if it's clear.
See you in AuGres.

Plastic cutting boards make excellent backing material. They are tough as nails.

Tony, GJ, and nice sunrise pic.

Good read on the temp break. Thanks for posting the info.

Our day started out decent enough when we got to my spot. The first 8 fish were keepers and about a 5 pounder was lost at the back of the boat. Then the wind/breeze went dead and the little guys took over. We boated 38 walleyes but only ended up keeping 13 for the half day. Had maybe 50 short hits, where the rubber band would get slammed and stretch way out then go slack again. Later observations revealed many missing tales on my Gulp nightcrawlers.
GJ Dan. Those little guys are our future. Up until a couple of weeks ago all our fish were legal. We are now getting some small ones every trip. Different locations seem to yield better for us. We are getting some light short hits also.

Gordy, GJ in tough conditions. Another couple of weeks and the Kings will be hitting everything.

-
GJ Mike, Thanks for the report.

Good Job Jay, in tough conditions. A few more weeks and the Kings will be very aggressive.

Better luck next trip Jeff.

Yeah that was me I saw you in your usual spot then you made a move and i tried to call you later and you were going in.
Tom
Tom, When we made the move, we were already filled. I was looking for (Hopitee) in a blue and white Crestliner. I wish we could have stayed closer to the point. I could handle the boat going into the waves, but if I was @ the helm I wasn't able to do what was needed @ the back. We went with the flow most of the time, because of conditions. It takes a decent helmsman to pull 9 lines going into 3 footers. Anticipation is the key. Some can do it, and some never can.

GJ, Nothing like a mess of them yellow bellies.

I hope you locate them yellow bellies.
