Nice job and welcome aboard. Were you using live bait with the spinners?
Tom

Yeah what Line Dancin said.
-
He said he launched from the river mouth, so I assume the DNR ramp.

Sometimes you can go to Radio Shack and they will have that kind of stuff.

The splitter would be an improvement over the 12 inch one you have now, but its personal preference, I like it because it didn't take up any more space, had no effect on my VHF. If you already have the ratchet base ready maybe thats the way to go for you.

I read this on another site, make sure that your shielding or ground wire is not touching you single coax. If any of the shielding wire is touching the single strand coax you will have problems.

Man I always forget about e bay.

Just saw one in Overton's man that thing went up in price. Item number 91367 price is $64.99 plus tax and shipping. Look around maybe you can find one locally.

I used a splitter and it worked out great. It should come with a piece of coax for your radio, and when you key up the mike it automatically switches off the am-fm. I liked it a lot.

Lived in Muncie for 15 years before I had a chance to move back to Michigan. It's quite a distance to get to any big water fishing that's for sure. When I lived there I fished Port Clinton and then in June I would leave my boat in Bay City so I could fish the bay. Good luck on rigging the boat.

I sold it a guy from up north, no one we know. Hate to see it go, but had to do it. Now I have to change my avatar.

I take mine apart every couple of years just to check the bearings, brakes and seals. It also depends on how much traveling you do with the trailer. It doesn't hurt to replace and repack the bearings by hand . That's me though, so far so good with bearing failure.

Thats stuff those kids will never forget. I wouldn't mind getting in on an airbrush class myself.

Any time you need some help with that kind of stuff son't be afraid to ask. Glad I could help in a small way. Maybe next time we could get together and show the kids how to tie up harness's so they can produce them for the next dinner, or maybe even sell them on their own to generate some revenue for their club. Just a thought.

Walleye boards and you will be able to tell when there is a fish on them. Watch how they run, the nose will ride slightly higher in the water, when you get a fish it will pull the board back. Once you watch them you will be able to tell if you have something, whether it be a fish or weeds. Good luck, I use both, big boards on the Trophy and inlines on my smaller boat. Both have their place.

Good job Frank, something to be said for grumpy old men.

I think its a great cause. More of that kind of stuff should be happening in high schools.

Tony they are going in the mail today.

Hey Tony I know we pm'd each other but I thought I would post on here that I'm going to tie up about a dozen crawler harness's and send them to you. Like I said I'm not going to guarantee that they will catch fish but they will look good. I'll have them in the mail by next week. Good luck for a worthy cause.

Wouldn't that depend on if you have a four stroke or a two stroke kicker and if you main motor is an outboard and oil injected and your kicker is a two stroke you would still have to mix the oil for the kicker. It's a great way to go if you have all four strokes though.
