TROUT TRACKER

The Caz tourney is canceled for tomorrow!!!! For Sunday August 12th

Caz wanted me to let everyone know that the tourney is a go for tomorrow.

This is a real fun tourney this is the 5th year I will be fishing it This year Catfishhoge,Sixshoooter ,Mrs. Sixshooter and I are teaming up to fish this fun tourney looking forward to a good time as always. see you guys there.

Thanks for the ride Rick it was an enjoyable day with some nice fish to boot glad I woke up that morning after being out chasing some other fishies till 2:00 A.M waking up at 4:00 A.M and heading to wayland to meet up with Jimmy,By the way the earlier trip yielded no results:mad:

Hit the zoo Saturday 2/11 We started out dropping back bags and skien,My b-inlaw was the first to hook up on a pink bag but after a short battle the fish threw the hook:mad: A short time later I hooked up into this nice hen steelie on salmon skien Now I have got some fresh steelie skien:D I had another pick up but it spit it before I could set the hook. just before we left that hole I told my b-inlaw to work a plug back through the hole after working it back 75 ft a nice steel slammed the black/gold tot but it to came unstuck after a run at the boat and a jump,(this was his first time steelie fishing) Throughout the rest of the day we had several other hits on plugs but couldn't keep them stuck. Thats the way it goes sometimes. The water was still up a little and stained but fishable. See ya all on the water. Larry

Kind of a different story how I got my boat name (and site name) One day I was fishing in ludington in my 17' tracker boat i used to have, I was talking to some guys in the lot and they asked me my handle so they could contact me on the water, well i had never really chatted on the radio or thought of naming my boat before so i thought about it for a second and looked at my boat and the sticker on the side said Bass Tracker:eek: So I thought well I am not a bass fisherman ,I am a trout fisherman so hense the name TROUT TRACKER. I now have a 18 foot lund tyee but the name stuck with me.

My favorite is Port sheldon that is where I cut my big lake teeth. Manistee would be my second choice.

Here is the warden!LOL Sometimes she does get to fish with me.
