  1. I'll get you some pictures, this would make a great sled for the wife or kids,PM me your e-mail address so I can send you pictures. The track is in excellent shape and the sled was stored inside, I know the guy that bought it new and he only used it a couple times a year.He needed the space in his pole barn so he offered it to me.I put about 20 miles on it last spring with no problems.
  2. I picked this sled up last spring, It's a 1995 polaris Indy lite 340 long track, would make a great ice fishing sled, has a two up seat and lugage rack on the back for hauling your stuff. Sled has 540 miles on it and runs like a top, has a small tear in the seat but other that that it's a sweet little sled, perfect for draging out the shanty. $1200.00 bucks takes it, located by Traverse City Michigan PM with questions

Had a couple in the back yard the other night, both had the velvet polished off, one was a 6 and the other a small eight.small deer though. Looks to be another good year coming up in my favorite state to hunt, talked to a couple of the boys and they have been seeing some good bucks around, can't wait to get out there.
  4. Salmonquest, I have searched for a counter with a reset on it, no one makes them in the small counter that we use. No rigger manufacturer that I'm aware of has the reset, it would be nice though.
  5. Basillio, The screw on top is the armature end play adjustment, do not turn it. The hole on the side is where they put a punch to stake the threads so it does not come loose. Our new motors do not have the side hole but do have the adjustment screw.Seal them up with some silicone, even if they do not leak an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure I set my rods just like Salmonquest does, if fish are deep you can usually get three riggers set and going down at a time. It helps keep the line tight to the release and you will get better hook ups.
  6. Caz, Been doing a lot of racing and a little fishing,Mostly on the river for Brookies and on the lake for Gills, Been waiting for the lake to set up for Stealhead. We were testing the Cuda down at Mid Michigan, there is $50,000 to win race in August, we set it up with a delay box with crossover and wanted to see how consistant it was going to be.It works good. Same story for me, I had a 72 Cuda with a 440, it had 13.5 to 1 pistons tunnel ram with dual 750 holley's on it, ran very well, Sold it to buy my house. I alway said I would have another Big Block Mopar, Now I have 6, 66 coronet 440,66 coronet convertible,69 Road Runner, 69 Coronet, 68 Dart and the Duster, the Duster is my race car, it has an Indy 440 in it, about 800 horse and weighs 2400 lbs.Runs 9.60s at 150 mph in the Quarter. Between my son and I we own 4 66 big block Coronets.
  7. Here's one for ya, we were hunting in Nebraska and all but one guy had tagged out. well the guy wakes up on the last day of the hunt, gets dressed and heads for his hunting stand, it was -5 with a 30 mph wind, he came walking back in at daylight just as the rest of us were getting up.He said he about froze waiting for daylight and figured out what was going on He said he looked at the clock and saw the time but he did not think about it because of the time change. that and he was half asleep.he said when he got to the land we hunt on it was 2:15 am. Needless to say we came home with out his tag filled
  8. I'll be finishing hooking up the big block in my 69 coronet,Got it set in and mostly hooked up on saturday night, went racing down at Mid Michigan yesterday. Went down for a little test and tune, brought home a check, sweet!!!! Would finish it up on Saturday but will be getting the Duster and Cuda ready for Saturday night.
  9. I will be there with the Big Jon booth, We will be located were the Gander booth was last year.Stop by and say hi. John,
  10. Guys,I need your input. We are currently working on some new things here at Big Jon Sports. One of those things is a lighted counter, we are in the development stages and need to know how you guys would like the light to work. 1. Light comes on when you turn on the rigger switch, in the up or down position the light comes on. Down fall to this is if you just want to check depth in the dark you must turn the rigger on in the up or down mode to see what depth you are at 2.A seperate switch, like a toggle switch that turns the light on with out turning on the rigger, down fall to the seperate toggle is it could be left after daylight. 3.A seperate push button switch that would be located so it could be easily pushed while the rigger is being set. To check depth you would just push the switch and the light would come on, no starting the rigger or chance of it being left on. Let know what you think, John, SD800

  13. Yes I do, He is an 8 point and we figure he will score close to 150, he is 21" wide and heavy,G2's are over 10 inch's he dressed by our scale at 226. It says I can't post attachments.
  14. Todd Farm? what is it? where is it? how do you get drawn for it?
  15. I do not mix anything with venison burger when it is ground,If we use it for meat loaf we add hambuger or sausage to it when we use it,an old time once told me the meat will keep longer if you do not mix anything with it.
  16. Hit Man, This is John from Big Jon Sports, not sure who you spoke to but we have had only two motor come back out of over 1500 last year, one was a warranty and the other was a dock mishap. If you spoke to me I must appoligize for giving you incorrect information, It may have been at a tourney and I may have inadvertently said the pro tournamnet instead of the Speed Rigger. Which your statement is correct. We are currently not releasing Speed Riggers, they are much better than the first units but not up to Big Jon standard. we are currently working with the control and motor manufacturers. I would not look for them to be released until 2008, we want a good year of field testing before they are released again. I will look forward to seeing you this summer at the tournaments, good luck to you and the Hit Man team this year.
