  1. Surface water at the pier was 48 degrees and got warmer as we went out. Set down in 80 fow surface was 50 degrees and temp at the ball was 43 at 40 ft down--ended up 7 for 9 2) 100 ft of cu mixed veggie 1) 120 ft of cu--mixed veggie 1) dipsey set at 3 back 80 ft pickled sunshine fly with mountain dew SD 1) dipsey set at 1 back 80 ft green fly with mountain dew SD 1) DR at 40 anti freeze spoon 1) DR at 50 green dolphin Guys were talking on the radio and helping each other out for location. That's the most information I've heard this year ---Great time on the water.
  2. 4 for 6 Fish were scattered from 80 to 200 fow 1) dipsey back 80 ft mixed veggy spoon 1) 120 ft of copper snow white pro spoon 1) dr set at 60 mixed vegggy spoon 1) dr set at 50 snow white spoon lost one at the boat on 120 copper and lost one off the dr set at 70 nbk spoon temp at ball 60 ft down was 42 degrees surface was high 50's to 60 degrees
  3. temp at surface varied from 53-56 temp at ball 40 ft down was 41-44
  4. Tuff morning--2 for 8. Started in 60 fow hit fish in 110 fow worked out as far as 180 with 130 being the best for us 1--down rigger at 55 mixed veggy also missed one 1--slide diver set at 3 back 120---white spoon with uv ladder back--also lost 1 2--120 ft of copper wonder bread--lost both slide diver at 100 set on 3 NBK spoon lost 2
  5. A very slow day for us. Started in 50 fow lots of cold water not many fish. Trolled out to 120 fow and found larger waves (2-3 ft) came back in only to find that the waves were picking up in close and the temp. at 40 ft was all over the place from 45 to 50 degrees. Called it a day at 11:00 and left with a skunk in the box for the first time in years!!
  6. 5 for 7 all caught between 90-110 fow. Also all caught between 6:30 and 8:00 am!!Fished until 11:00 and pulled lines the heat was getting to us. 3---dr at 50ft. 2 on bloody nose on a fixed slider (up 5 ft) 1 on a coyote 1---180 ft of cu SD with pickled sunshine 1----300ft of cu wonder bread j plug. 3 were kings 18-191/2#'s 1 coho at 7#'s and a 2 # king. great day on the water real glad the fog prediction was wrong.
  7. 8 for 9 6 coho and 2 kings all fish under 10 # trolled from 80 fow to 190 and back to 80 fow. The best depth ended up being from 90 to 110. 120 ft of cu-- pickled sun shine with a white SD ----4 100 ft of cu ---pickled sun shine with a mountain dew SD ----1 DR at 45 ---large white paddle mirage fly----1 DR AT 50 ---- blue dolphin spoon----1 DR at 30 ---- lemon ice spoon----1 180 ft of cu ---wonder bread j plug---lost one fish
  8. We had two that were in the 10-12# range. The rest were 5-8#'s. We had a large king that (20#?) broke off on the rear down rigger cable before we could net him.
  9. We didn't mark all that many fish. Mostly I was fishing the "warm" water above 48 degrees

  11. Five for five in 90-110 fow. 2-19# and 1 20# king 180 ft. of cu. wonder bread J-Plug 1-Steelhead--- dipsey back 75ft blue bubble fly---white SD with blue tape 1-Coho 65 down on rigger large white paddle with Oceana mirage fly
  12. 1 for 2 this morning. Started in 60 fow and trolled to 140 temp at the ball was 51 to 55 degrees and held speed from 2.2 to 2.7 1--king 6# 65 down on rigger blue dolphin spoon caught in 130 fow 1--steel head lost 180 ft of copper NBK spoon. Both spoons were the sting ray size. Sounds like I would have been better off working the 50-75 water
  13. two were 19#s on the hand scale one was 10 and the other two at three #'s
  14. 7 for 8--- 50-80 fow from 6am to 8:30am moved out to 100-120fow until 11:30-- 2.5 to 2.7 mph at the ball. 2 kings 120ft. of copper NBK spoon 1 king dipsey set at 3-- back 75 ft--mixed veggies 1 king down rigger @50' Mongolian beef 2 kings down rigger @ 35' NBK spoon 1 steel head down rigger @ 30' gold spoon with a red head and diagonal green tape
  15. 2 for 4 One lake trout and one steelhead. Weather was hot!! fishing was not. 1 lake trout 100' down on rigger-- mixed veggies 1-2 steelhead 125 back on dipsy-- double orange crush 0-1 180' copper-- gold spoon red nose diagonal green tape also called crazy charlie

  17. Port Sheldon morning 5-16 Two for seven with the best water 110 to 150 ft. Even sharpening hooks didn't help our hook ups! 1--300 ft of copper carmel dolphin . lost three on this set up 1--dipsey dialed on two 200ft of wire carmel dolphin---lost one on this set up 1-- 45 down on rigger lemon ice The lake was flat beautiful day on the water
  18. Seacat--I've had poor success with the dive bombers on my copper lines. Where are you attaching them? on the leader or on the copper? how far from the lure?
