  1. Launched the boat at 5:30 this morning. Headed straight out to 110 FOW and started to set lines. Trolled south west out to 150. Marked a ton of fish in 130-140 so we headed back there. Ended up 4 for 6. 2 mature kings, 21lb and 19lb. Also a smaller 12 lb king and a coho. Took hits on every thing, riggers, dipseys, and full core on a variety of spoon colors as well. Beautiful morning out on the water, minus all of the flies!

Both of the larger kings came on BLL green dolphin as well as the 2 fish that were lost. The smaller king came on BLL mixed veggie and the coho came on BLL orange crush.

  3. Anyone with an extra VHF and antennae laying around? Mine was stolen off the boat at the end of last year, just thought i'd check on here to see if anyones got an extra that they're willing to sell before I go out and buy a new one. Thanks!

  4. Thanks Jimmy! I'll be sure to look up the info! If you're ever looking for a rider, or a ride I'd love to join you or pick you up!

On a side note, thanks SO much for all of the help, guys. I never expected to receive so many replies to a novice cry for help! You guys are great!

  5. Thanks for the response Ryan! I'd love to join you when you launch in holland next. Or you're more than willing to join me, either/or works for me. I really don't even know where to start when it comes to fishing the big lake. Any info is better than none!

  6. Hey guys,

I know its still a few months away until being able to hit the lake again, but i'm getting antsy! Last year was my first year fishing the lake and I didn't do near as well as i had expected. I run 2 riggers off the back, 2 dipseys and 2 boards. I've got a 19ft sportcraft caprice that handles the waves just fine. I guess what i'm looking for is maybe a reputable charter that I can go on for a day to learn depths, color schemes, speed, etc to be able to apply to my future trips this coming summer. Heck, i'd even be willing to just go out on my boat if someone knowledgable would be interested in joining me and showing me the ropes! Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys!

  7. Fished the zoo today. Launched from New Richmond park and headed upstream. Went 3 for 3. First one hit before I could even get the rod in the holder. Beautiful chrome female, 28" hit on a black and orange hot 'n' tot. Second one hit about an hour later on a troll upstream, 27" female on a chartreuse hot 'n' tot. Last one hit on on last troll before heading in for the evening. 24" male, hit on a frog hot 'n' tot.
