  1. No problem, hope to get out again soon and get some updates. Pretty soon those salmon will be in close getting ready for the push up river.
  2. That still was a good time. I like your avatar picture, night time walleye trolling = big brown trout on custom cranks!
  3. Thanks KJ, Yea it was a fun night having everything work. Couple doubles mixed in makes it interesting as well.
  4. Trying to hide all this good information from me, haha, just kidding. I think you got some skills tho!
  5. Worked 90-110fow most of the evening. Didnt mark a lot of fish, surface temps were 70degree again. Did manage to pick up 7 fish tho. 3 nice four year olds, and 4 nice 3 year olds. Was overcast and hazy, so I ran glow spoons for majority of the evening before it got dark. Heres a run down of what we ran: Downrigger @ 80: meat rig 1-1 Downrigger @ 55: hot lips spoon 1-1 Downrigger @ 65: bloody nose spoon 1-1 Mag dipsy @ 88loc: mini meat rig 0-1 Slide diver @ 120loc: rainbow spoon 1-2 200 copper: crab face spoon 2-2 4 color: ratchet jaw spoon 1-1

  9. I'll get some posted in the next couple days here. Pretty excited for some of my newer ones too.
  10. thanks for the welcoming guys! KJ Pluggin: yea, be nice to meet some new fisherman, i have an 18 blue ranger, if ya see it going out or coming in, say hi. Nailer: i will be sure to keep some updates on the walleye action. Was out that way fishing a week ago and we did pretty good and it should only get better as the water temps cool and fall approaches!
  11. I like to cure mine in a variety of colors and mixtures. We fish for trout thru the ice a lot and I like to have different colors down to see which they want more. Pautzke fire brine and borax o fire cures work awesome. I will add more sugar to a couple of bags to help sweeten the eggs up a bit or even add garlic to some as well. I bleed the salmon if I plan on using the eggs, that helps to rid of any blood left in the skein. If I forget to bleed them, then I scrape the eggs out of the skein and use those eggs to tie in sacs. Good luck
  12. I stick the front treble in the herring just before the tail, pull in the slack and that helps get a little more of a bend in the herring.
  13. What kind of meat heads are you using? When I use the mini meat heads, the herring is fileted then brined and if I'm using the large meat heads, I then cut the head off the herring and gut it, followed by brining it. I also use the fire brine in assortment of colors and sometimes add some garlic to the mix. good luck
  14. Not sure how many people airbrush their own baits. I use them for browns and walleye in the spring and for fall salmon outside the pier heads. I'll be posting a few new paint schemes and some glow patterns that I have done and if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask away.
  15. Was introduced to this site. Never knew it was around before. Glad to be on it and hope to help out anyway that I can. Fish mainly Kewaunee area with some good friends(Bluecollaroutdoors and oilcan) to name a few, but will travel to wherever the salmon are biting. Also fish the bay of green bay for walleye. Check out my youtube channel Bollie27 for some videos and more videos to come in the future(editing procees now).
