  1. Rod trees still available? Do these rotate at the base? Track mount? Thanks for any info. Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  2. I've always wanted to give jigging a try. Thanks for posting the video! Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  3. Yellow Tail has been my #1 spoon color for steelhead in both inland and Great Lakes waters. It comes in different variations - glow, silver or green back, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App I fish it behind riggers and up higher 30ft or less using snap weights. No flashers.
  4. Very high quality video. Thanks for sharing!!!
  5. They didn't have the single axis rod holders in stock......yes, I've seen them and they are very nice.
  6. Very nice boat. Lots of fish fighting room! Love the high rails. My favorite rail mount rod holders for dipsies are the Down East Saltys.
  7. Didn't have any interest/offers, so I put this on EB*Y. No reserve auction. Ends Thursday night around 9:30pm eastern. www.ebay.com/itm/Cannon-Mag-15-Electric-Downrigger-New-/251045676791
  8. I visited Northwoods Outlet in Pinconning last week and they had Bert's rod holders (satin and buff brite) for 54.99 and Cannon dual axis rod holders for $74.99. Best prices I've seen.
  9. Aaron, you aren't jacking the thread! No problem.....this is all good discussion. I assume you are asking about Northwoods Outlet in Michigan? I haven't ordered via their online store, but I've been in the store SEVERAL times. Very large store, their fishing section is very well organized and well kept. A good selection of great lakes fishing gear. The best prices I've seen on Okuma Convector reels and name brand rod holders (Bert's, etc.) and accessories. One of my favorite stops in Eastern Michigan....along with Jays Sporting Goods and Frank's Great Outdoors. Based on how well kept their store is, I would definitely give them a try with an online order. http://www.northwoodsoutlet.com/
  10. Yeah, I also looked at their website....didn't work and couldn't find pricing info. I did look at their product during my last trip to Frank's Great Outdoors and the rod holders are VERY nice...and seem to be a functional design....I bet they would sell a ton if their internet site was user-friendly and if they had more stores and other internet sites selling them.
  11. I'm definitely going to check out the dipsey rod cradles ! Maybe buy them before the normal rod holders, as I am going to use them for dipseys anyway. Saving my $$$$.
  12. Actually never tried it. Spoons, flies, squids, and J plugs. Petoskey, Charlevoix, Boyne City, Cedarville, and Sault Ste. Marie.
