  1. Thanks BW we really appreciate it, and Jim i would love too switch it over to all the same i just cant do 7 events as i fish alot of other tournys so it really wouldn't work or be fair if you will.. with comparing points if you have more events than we did but lets come up with something?? send me a message or lets start up a thread to discuss this

  2. I,d like to try and make maybe the sept event we,ll see how it goes i,m already doing 10 other tourneys this year 5 with shfl, brown blast, st joe, south haven and saug pro ams and the dreamweaver charity. maybe we can do something like a battle for the sept event? and have all 3 leagues involved..i have nothing scheduled in sept for shfl

  3. Thought i had some pics but couldn't find them so i tied up one, the stretch cord works really good, you can stretch the heck out of it and it really tightens up the mylar (stold it from my daughter):thumb: if your wondering what that green head is.. its a piece of a crazy straw, you can pick up a pack of 5 or 6 at the dollar store for a buck they come in all different colors its nice thick tubing it will slide right over the regular clear tubing with a little heat and pushes the mylar up tight agaisnt the wrap. you can also used it alone in place of the reg tubing.. and i use the dogs nail nippers to cut all the tubing works excellent, nice clean cut

  4. I made quite a few flys last year, I used stretch cord.. a cpl wraps and no glue or tape needed to start. after im done wrapping i give it one drop of super glue let dry for a sec and cut the stretch cord than finish off wit a coat of clear nail polish and they held up great i,ll post a pic shortly

  5. I will there also and will get the word out about the seminar......i think most guys dont know about it because they're not on this site checking fishing reports. Maybe list the info under all the fishing reports including ice fishing, if this site has icefishing?

Im confused.. or did you post on the wrong thread?

  6. Here is the schedule for 2013 we may throw in one last event in early September later, we,ll se how it goes we are also going to switch to a best 4 out of 5 for final points championship we had a few guys that couldn't make every event last year so this should help keep everyone in the hunt for first.

Also want to thank Blood Run Tackle, Big Weenie Brand and Warrior Lures for supporting us again this year:thumb:

    May 4th Blood run Event

  7. I've been drooling over the Trax Techs for a few years now. Struggling with the price though. A friend has the Big Jon's on his 17 Aluma Craft and I'm quite impressed with the line separation while trolling. I like the idea of mounting them into tracks vs individual Big Jon mounting blocks. My boat is all Bert's so far so I will probably go with the Bert's trees for consistency when I buy, but wonder about the lack of adjustment on the Bert's.

    Have fun buying.

I hear ya on the price.. about $150 diff between the two. I like the fact that the big jons can be removed easily. the spot i will need to mount them i may have to remove for docking. I know the traxstech can be removed also or rotated but looks like id have to leave off the end cap to remove

  8. I don't think you can go wrong with Convectors i would however stay away from magda pro's they are junk.. i bought a couple of those trying to save a buck and used them for two days and threw them in the garage they kept popping lose while under tension on rigger and back lashed into a big mess

  9. Awesome Shannon, I too would like to move to a larger boat. One more year yet for me. Good luck on the new boat.

Thanks Shawn, so far so good i got it home yesterday and everything seems to be solid both engines fired up :thumb: a little cosmetic work and setting up all the gear and i think i,ll be good to go

  10. Send me some more info about repairs needed and pics. Would be a project boat, no interest in the extra stuff.

    Regards,

    Rod

Pm Sent, as far as other repairs that's really all it needs is the transom an some floor work in the back area. It runs excellent never had an issue with anything it has a ford 302 engine and it pushes it pretty good if anyone needs more pics pm me your email and i,ll try to get them to you but it wont be untill the 26th i,ll be busy getting the new boat tommorow
