  1. Just a quick question. How do you guys set your lines with the big boards without getting them on the divers off the side? I've used them for walleye setting them off the side but it seems like the diver would be in the way especially with a long copper?

  2. Hey guys just wanted your opinion on the Yeck torpedo downrigger weights. Anybody use em? Like em? Looking at adding a fish hawk/depth raider this winter and thought a torpedo weight would be better for reducing blowback on the probe. I use the traditional cannonballs now. I was checking out the Yecks and saw the spot to attatch the rigger cable is in the nose instead of the top, is there a advantage to that? Any and all opinions welcome!

  3. I would highly recommend Doug Demming at Fish Point lodge as a charter captain. He has 2 boats one set up for the Saginaw river and one for the bay. A very hands on guy who will work his butt off to find you fish. And willing to share info including GPS numbers best colors, lures etc. I've fished twice from his big boat and once in the winter thru the ice and have not been dissapointed.

  4. Thanks Ron thats what I was looking for...I use the spro swivel with shrink wrap for my leader to copper....just wanted something for copper to copper without dealing with the shrinkwrap ...how strong is the twist? I've tried something like this but seemed to pull apart with a good pull?

  5. Hey guys hoping to repair my 300 cu that "found" my wire diver. I have two spots that are frayed up pretty good. I've read a lot about the ease of using the haywire twist but have found nothing on the net showing how to do it (except a few u tube videos where saltwater guys were using it to tie a wire leader to a hook). Thanks.

  6. Worked anywhere from 80-300fow from the bathhouse to the 07s. Ended up 7-9 with 4 kings 11-14lbs 2 coho 5-6lbs and 1 8lb steelie. Best water was 120-130 fishing right on the bottom off the stick. What worked.
