I have some flies from Mike's Eyeflies lined up that need to be field tested! I need 4 volunteers who would be interested in testing/reviewing the product. Each field tester is required to write a review within 3 weeks of receiving the product. A picture of the product is required also. Please take quality images! A picture with the fish you catch would be nice, and could "possibly" end up on Mike's Eyeflies website.

If you are not able to get out fishing to review the product, please do not reply.

I caught a 2 1/2lb smallmouth while fishing Lake Michigan out of Muskegon a couple of years ago on an 11" flasher and fly.

The weather was a bit tumultuous on Friday night, which made for a challenging crossing from Michigan City to Mac Island, and a rough sleep on the boat during the wind, heavy rain, and thunderstorms. That made our 5am departure a bit delayed.

Michigan City to Mac Island????? That must have been a loooonnnnnggggg boat ride. I'm guessing you meant Mackinac City.

Some day I will make it up to the straights to fish.
