EVERYONE HAS TO WRITE A REVIEW WITHIN 3 WEEKS OF RECEIVING THE PRODUCT! Please see the reviews that have been written from previous field testers for a guide. Try to take quality pictures, and try to show the product in the fishes mouth. PLEASE POST YOUR REVIEW IN A NEW THREAD IN THIS SECTION SO I CAN REVIEW IT. After I review them, I will move them to the Field Testers Review section.
I am suppose to meet with Jimmy(Jimbobber) tomorrow. Jimmy is heading to Ludington this weekend. If you will be in Ludington this weekend, I would like to send your package up with Jimmy.
I can meet up with the everyone else(except jimcr) and get them their package. Send me your mailing address in a pm jimcr, and I will get it mailed to you.
If you have any questions, please ask.

Fisherman loses $900,000 marlin to a technicality. A North Carolina fisherman who caught a record setting marlin in a fishing tournament off the coast lost his fish - to a $5 fishing license.
Boat owner Michael Topp says his crewmembers all told him they were licensed, but one of them actually was not. And that cost the whole team the record win at the Big Rock Blue Marlin Fishing Tournament on June 14.
The fish? The big blue marlin weighed in at 883 pounds.
A post-contest lie detector test routed out the lout.
Below is a video clip of the big win being weighed, before they found out that their extra crew-hand had lost them the contest. It takes no less than three men to lift their haul to be weighed. Amazing!

"The entire process, including the cost of the ship, ran about $20,000 and was paid for largely by donations from local divers and dive shops, said Gentile, who also runs Windy City Diving. His company is among a handful in Chicago that can take divers out to the boat for a fee."
Hmmmmm.....since when does someone have to pay a fee to visit a shipwreck on the bottom of the lake???

If your downrigger cable is going to fray, it will happen at the crimp.

Okuma should have named the new top of the line reel something besides Catalina. Now that I have a few seasons on my reels, I find it hard to cough up that much money for another reel that says Catalina.

Awesome job Abby.....you to Jimmy!

I have a couple I need to send in for repair The issues I have are them not engauging properly after I am finished setting the rod. Sometimes when a fish hits, the reel "kind of" free spools, and makes an awful sound. When I set them now, I turn the spool a tiny bit, and make sure they are full engauged. I will send mine in at the end of the season.
Okuma had this same issue with the Convectors a few years ago.

I just reread it. Maybe they offer diving charters to it.
