I always run the lead 6-10ft of line between my finger and thumb after every fish to check for nicks, or just keep buying lures.

Nice setup Dave good all-a-round boat, and one for wife in the back ground, SWEET.

Dave Ash; I run dogger spoon up set at times, you look at your dogger the tow end that hooks to your rod has little bend, the other end that you hook your bait to has more bend with that said it would spin out on you above 1.8- 2.0 mph, SO I switch ends with the dogger this will not spin out untill reach 2.6 GPS speed, and I run 4' -6' 25lb leader off that w/good swivels always produced fish. Green alpena dimond dogger w/dream weaver - lemon ice reg. (KILLER)

Good job on the fish, And those Flies But I have done this 1/3 bleach +1/3 dish soap + 1/3 water windex spray bottle and spray inside of boat when you start getting flies on board, WARNING try not to get it on fabric, my boat is wash-down it so it's easier to deal with, but it Works most of the time.
