Just wondered how everyone else's dry docks went. I got wrote up on stringers that my inspector said were rotten and when they cut them out there was solid wood.Lost half a seson on some thing that did not need to be fixed.

Fishing is good right now in 90-120 fow there is a mixed bag of salmon lake trout and steelhead.the best baits are 11"white paddles with green fly's,silver green glow spoons, and mt.dew spin doctors with green fly's.On the high cores mixed veggies silver streak minis were good.
-
They look the same as the regular blue and green dolphin's the only difference is that the have a die cut UV tape on them in stead of the glow tape and the only place that has them is outdoors. There are no pics yet.

Nice job Ken those are some good looking fish.
-
Good luck to all you guys and remember just have fun out there.
-
You should be able to use that rod and reel for every thing but the line is a little lite for dispys later in the year.
-
Good job Mike got to love the Super Screw in may.
-
I found a guy this afternoon thanks.
-
I need to find someone to move my boat form Saugatuck to Holland but i need someone who can haul boat and craddle.
-
The heartland with a twrille tip will do you just fine. The best thing you can do with wire is when a fish hits back the drag off and let the fish run and then start to give it some more drag.
-
Thanks Ken stop by and say if you are fishing out of holland we are in slip 49a it is right by the launch.
-
We have decided to move to Holland this year. We will be docked next to the public launch so I hope to see alot more people from this site this year.
-
The Outdoorsmen has some combos all ready set up and have good prices on there stuff.
-
2 down riggers 2 divers 2 10 colors and 5 color and get some mag spoons and some flashers and flys and a good graph and radio and you should have every thing you need to catch a few fish .
-
Glad they help you out Terry they have always help me out and any one i have sent in there.
-
I will be there every day in the Silver Streak booth.
-
Mike i think once you try the mini streaks you will really like them alot they are great addaline baits and really good on core.
-
I have found 20# floro carbon to work the best for fixed or free sliders but when i can not find floro carbon i just 20# mono. You can also use a offshore release added to the middle of you slider and clip it to your main line .
-
i almost always run fixed and free sliders when i run fixed i run them like mike but alot of times i like to run free sliders and i will run spoons from the ss jr size to the mag size and sometimes have the smaller spoon on the bottom and sometimes run the same size spoons when i am speed trolling i run free sliders and on the chute most of the time
-
i hardly ever run my probe any more if you got a good graph it will tell you most any thing you need to know because later in the year you will find fish out of temp alot and if you are worried about temp some one on the radio will tell you where the temp break is
-
i think they are pirate spoons
-
i will run silver streaks from 1.5 knots-4.3 knots in mags regs and minis and catch fish .
-
I would not get rid of 4,9,or 15.Number 4 is a great 5-10 color bait.Number 9is one of are best all around baits fish on core of all sizes and on our deep riggers. If i only had one choice i would keep number 15 we always have one on on evrey trip great 3-10 bait good on mid range riggers and great on wire in the spring 90 to 135 back .Number 15 is our top tournament bait and it catches all 5 of the fish. best for kings and steelhead and works well in the mud on a 3 or 5 color. Also number 1 is great in may on any rod.

This time of year when the fish are big we will use 50# leaders and still may have to retie after every fish. The line gets all frayed up when the line is running through there teeth you should check your leader after every fish if you don't you will be sorry and also you should sharpen your hooks after every fish at this time of year as there mouths are getting harder.
