Got out about 6-6:30. Set lines in 170 fow. Didn't do anything until I switched over to Moonshines about 7:15. At 7:30 all heck broke loose, and I never got to sit back down again until 10:00. Everything on the boat went at one time or another. Happee Meal and V-Neck were the standouts for the night.
#1 Dipsey on a 3 setting 200' and 225'
Mag Dipsey on a 1.5 setting 100' and 125'
Riggers set 75' to 125'
Seemed to have several knockoffs, must be some Coho aroound too. Three times it was a battle to get the rods out of the holders cause of the size of the kings. Had some bad Ju-Ju on the horses as they were pulling so hard I had a hook straighten, a spoon folded up and a swivel straightened.
Ended up 5 for 17 in 150 to 165 fow.
Also hit some bad current that swept my port dipsey across the back and took out 4 other rods. That happened twice.
All in all a great night on the water.
Good luck to all this weekend !

The only problem launching from Copeyon park is that it is no wake all the way out.

Safe to fish another day. It isn't worth messing with Mother.....

GJ Don ! We struggled in the AM. Forecast 0 to 1, ended up 2 to 3' waves. The fished moved from the night before and had two ill people on board.

Got into the fish right before dark in 80 to 90 fow. Everything came 50 + ft down. All on Moonshines. Flounder Pounder, V-Neck, Tangerine Tarzan and Happee Meal all took fish. Biggest was 18 lbs.

It is that time of year ! GJ Jim !

What speed are you running with those spoons?
1.8 to 2.2 on the GPS. I wouldn't go any slower, and you could go much faster. But that was working this past weekend.

Great catch Adam !
