Finally got the first big lake trip of the year under my belt. Had a great two hours this evening before the storm hit. We went 2 for 3 with one King and one Laker. Here's what worked.
Big Lake Lures UV Patriot spoon. 62 FOW, 40' down on downrigger. West troll. 10 lb. King.
Flasher/fly combo. 45 FOW, 25' down on downrigger. East Troll. 4lb Laker.
J9 jointed Rapala brook trout pattern. 60 FOW on planner board. South Troll. Miss.

Frank, I agree with you 100% I used to raise fish in my aquariums (Koi mostly) and when it came time to breed them, I adjusted their light to coincide with the amount of daylight during their typical spawn calendar period. And low and behold, they spawned during that time only when the duration of light was right.
