  1. I was looking at then rhino rods at frank's yesterday they have them teamed with a okuma 20 for 39.99 thats a heck of a setup Iliked the looks of them I also have the okuma pro classic rods and love them for walley inlines they are also real cheap at northwoods about the same price.

  2. I am not buying the smelt thing everybody in their brother used to net smelt by the bickets in the 80's and 90's and now noone gets any sounds like somebody at the DNR put the wrong year on that report.

Other than that The walleye fishing in the last couple years have been phenominal and your right the alewife die off has helped that so.. I guess 6 ofone half dozen of the other.

  3. There are more smelt in lake Huron now than ever I dont know where you got that info from but its definately wrong and If they were introduced to do a job and everyone liked them around why not try and keep them around it stems back to all the hundreds of invasive species brought in to the great lakes by the shipping industry salmon is the only good thing we ever got out of the deal!

  4. We are walleye fishermen and we run a 5 hp on 22 foot aluminum I am guessing your grady is about the same weight it would probally work for walleye because if there is any waves you would be going with them but I dont seeit as much for helping you get in if the big motor wont start!

  5. silver streaks are awesome we used to use them alot on the east side when there was salmon in lake huron alot. Now that we fish the west side we use them over there and they work over there too the mettalics hold up better than the competiters.

  6. When there used to be salmon in lake huron all we ever used was fly dodger combos on the dipsys and all the rest were streaks they are maderight in orchard lake, Mi very high quality spoon there mettalic spoons have real great paint to they seem to hold up nice than the stingers.

  7. I am with maniac and priority 1 we run alotof boards this year in manistee I was running 8 boards because the boat we were on only had 2 downriggers I run the OR12's all spring and summer on the bay over here at speeds below 1.5 so going over there and running over 2 is awesome. I also had the church boards gave them away and got these offshores those church boards are made to run slow they are made by mark martin a pro walleye fishermen and I honestly didnt like them for that let alone going faster.
