I will not be making it again this year. We were still in the hospital last year for the tourney....and this year i will be at my daughters first birthday party. Her birthday is the 10th and momma decided to have the party on the 11th this year and i assume we will have it on Saturday the 10th next year which will be the day of the tournament. I guess i will see you in 2012:eek:

You have the right idea Joe....experimenting is the way to go. Sometimes it requires a lot of patience, but there is always something to be learned.

Just like Matt I like to have my boards be able to release. Used to go the half hitch rubber band method, now its a red OR clip with the pin.

It really makes things ALOT easier. Both when fighting a fish, and if you desire to change a set up on one of the outside boards.

Same here with the OR-16 attached to a small eye hook I add to a church board and i also run a piece of mono between my core/copper and power pro like Ken.

You can run a super braid with a slide diver, but make sure you pay attention to the tubing where the diver pinches the line. When you wear through the tube it will start to wear through the diver and can create nicks that could cut the super braid and LOSE the BIG ONE!
