  1. Might want to call your 1st mate. I think he mentioned wanting some 310's for flatlines the other day. I'll mention it to him tonight.
  2. Clear 20# Big Game all year.
  3. NO, NO, oh and NO! There will be no drinking until after the tourney for me. Too many problems last year, but let's just say the chum line behind my boat would have won some money if that was a contest.
  4. I got the big NO from the wifey on this one. Apparently her idea of a fun Mothers Day is not having me yell at her in the back of the boat:grin: Are you booking the same crew for the mens tourney? I'm planning on four days of prefishing that week so we will be in touch! I reallly got the itch now!!!! Why don't you get the Boathouse crew again? Of coarse I would pray for 80 degree weather and follow you around all day:cool:
  5. I like to wait until just the right moment when Levi is netting fish to call and harass him and his mate:angry2: Seems to get him wound up pretty fast:grin:
  6. Ahh, you can tell it's the end of winter. Everyone's a little uptight. In the immortal words of Foghorn Leghorn "That was a gag son, a joke that is" I won't poke at Cazzie anymore, I promise:D
  7. Well, I can vouch for Sporty and say those boys are too busy fishing to even get to a computer. I know by the time they are done running doubles thet have been at it from 4:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Last thing I would want to do is post my report on the computer. At best once a week might be possible. What are you "fishing" for here Caz? Seems like you want people to tell you where to fish and what to run?
  8. 1. Shock Y Awe Crippled Alwive (doctored up) 2. Thin Fins in all colors 3. Jawbreaker Stinger 4. Jointed Raps in J-11 and J-13 Orange/Gold 5. Wiggle Warts in Orange/Gold
  9. I will run boards where and when I want. That is the risk you take. The extra fish it puts in the boat are worth replacing a board or two a year. Plus it gives extra breathing room so that morons that hook dipseys on another boats rigger lines will think twice about coming that close. 50# power pro will rip through mono like a hot knife through butter!
  10. You play with the bull, you're going to get the horns. Too bad for his wife and kids.
  11. On some days during balloon season, thats the only thing that keeps the driver occupied1:lol:
  12. Mark, Try Dave's Welding on Park in BH. He is just up the street from Napier and Park intersection. He put a skeg back on my skiff and did a great job. He also docks by Levi if you happen to be down there. Good luck with that!
  13. I'm still trying to figure out how to weigh in and leave for Chicago at 3:00 pm. Looks like I am probably out. Call me Steve if you still need a rider, as long as you drop me off by 1:30 to 1:45 pm. (......................man did I just type that????????????) No clean up would make it easier to get permission to go, if you know what I mean.
  14. I wouldn't necessarily agree, although I generally do run spoons as is out of the package. I had a spoon manufacturer, to remain anonymous, tell me once that he doesn't use the stock hooks that were on his spoons..........................makes you wonder what other cost saving things they do? I would suggest if you have the time to run some side by side tests and run what you have confidence in.
  15. Thank you "Captain Obvious"........A.K.A. "The Surgeon General", took a real genius to figure that out:) It just gives non-smokers more to complain about. What about deep frying and or cooking indoors? There enough PNA's in that to cause long term health effects too. Better move all of the kitchens in Michigan to the outdoors. OK "Captain Obvious", time to take all of that money you're making and tell us something we don't know! Jackass!
  16. Depends on what the fish are keying in on. If they are hitting the attractors I like the attractor and fly/meat rig to be the last thing they see and vice versa. I have run 9 rods all stacked with attractors before if ncessary (3 riggers, 2 diseys and 4 cores). Keep a good vertical seperation (+5 feet) and even with long leads they sould not tangle.
  17. I don't run may dodgers, but flashers it depends on where in the water column I am running them. Upper 30 feet of water I run them 30 to 50 feet off the ball. Deeper than that I run them closer.
  18. I need a fuel pump for a 3.0L OMC Cobra I/O. Part #985602.
  19. Sorry, I will be in Frankfort for the GLPAA event that weekend. Go St. JOE!!!!!
  20. Yes the bird flu is real and could become a problem, but remember to read betweenthe lines. If they don't scare the public, they won't get the money to do the research. I'm with you Mark. My car stalling on the railroad tracks is a bigger threat to me, not to mention random murders in the neighborhood.
  21. I'm with you Levi. Two riggers, both with meat. You can create a ton of commotion with those two rigs.
  22. Nice report guys. I wasn't too far ahead in the catch weighing in six fish. Boated 6 out of 12 bites in 90 to 130 fow north. Took some big rips on the meat, but couldn't put them in the cooler. Her is how important trout were, I weighed three kings and three trout (27# total) for a whopping 117 points! Nice to meet you Eric. Too bad we couldn't get those carbs fixed. Kits came in the mail yesterday morning. Hopefully see you all at the next league event.
