Anybody going out tonight from Muskegon, looking for some info. A friend went this morning and was only 1 for 2 150 fow and shallower, both fish came in 90-100. Was wondering if they went to deeper water.

8-12 fished last night on a friends boat out of Grand Haven, 100-135 fow,
north or south troll. went 4 for 6, 300 copper, mag wire dives set on 1.5 250 back with baby spin doctors and flies. j on a rigger 80 down. Didn't mark allot. nice night out.

Took my freind Darrin out for his first time ever on Lake Michigan, was also joined by John and Ken for a evening trip. Swells were 3-4 footers. Started setting lines in 90 fow took our first hit on a braid diver 200 back with green fly. That was choad of a coho right their. In about 120 fow landed a 20 lber on 300 copper with a green/black ladder j-plug. We stayed right in the 130 to 120 fow all night ended the evening going 5 for 8 with our hottest rig was a blue glow/ black ladder j-plug looking unit with attached hook 84 down on a rigger that was 3 for 4 on its own. Darrin was chummin for us all night long but he hung in there. May have been why we were catchin fish.

We also fished the Dreamweaver event, thought the lure package was really good. We caught fish on everything execpt the double orange crush which we had on a three color all day. We landed our first fish in the dark. then as the light was starting to show I turned south being just north of the channel in 70 fow and it was game on. Almost all of our hits came on a south either east or west troll. Ended the day 9 for 15 our biggest 16lbs.
lost a really nice one on 300 copper and landed our biggest on 150 copper that hit the green ladder spoon as I was trying to attach the board the line started ripping. My best day on the water this year. Thanks to everyone, it was a great event and will most likely do it again next year. Oh we finished 7th it was fun.

I also got skunked this morning. It was me on radio just before 11 said fish on and then a little later said fish off. Had a fish hammer 150 copper with a white with pink dots spoon, counter on the reel said 650 then nothing.
Maybe next time.

Ended the evening with two 5-7 lb kings, both came after 8:30 on the same rigger 45 down on a wonderbread spoon. 110-90 fow. My buddy also lost control of a pole as we were reeling in and popped his shoulder out, threw the pole overboard. 150 copper set up in the drink, 5 seconds later the rigger fired and we snagged the pole. Broken tip on the pole but at least we got it back.
