  1. Kid Fish is tomorrow weather permitting. If there is a cancellation we will post on the FB page and call the local radio stations. Charter drawing is tonight so if you have not entered you still have time just follow the instructions on the previous posts on out page. Good Luck to all!
  2. Will we made it 1,000 even quicker than I had hoped. Now someone gets to go fishing! We will give anyone who has not entered one last chance to get in by going back to our post on the 14th and liking it along with liking the page. At 5PM Tues we will take the list and add any new entries to the current list and draw a winner as long as I don't end up booking a charter tomorrow. As it stands expect a winner early tomorrow evening.
  3. We are only 3 days away from the MCSFA Kid Fish event at Man Made Lake in Manistee. This is my first year running the event and will be getting lots of help from the veterans of the event. We usually get 150 or so kids and each will get a free shirt, ice cream certificate and bait plus we will be giving away over 50 rod and reel combos. It is an awesome event and if you have kids 12 or under around Manistee make sure you don't miss it. The festivities start at 9AM on Wed. Let me know if you need any info.
  4. OK since we past 900 likes today lets give you another chance to enter for the free charter. If you have liked a post about the free charter before there is no need to like this one as you are already entered but please share it to get others to like the page. The charter will be given away when we hit 1,000 likes and if you haven't entered yet just like our page and this post and you will be entered. Lets get this done this year!
  5. Had to hurry to get to dock last night as this guy was coming out but check out this really cool video of him coming in A fun, old-timey video of the Manitowoc coming through the Maple Street Bridge today!
  6. Yesterdays HOT baits. Oceana and Hypnotist flies. Stinger 11" Hotchip and 8" Prochip flashers and Stinger UV Blue Veggies, Orange Gator, Pink Panties, and Killer Tangerine
  7. Heading out this afternoon to see how the pm bite is. Hope it is as good as the morning. Watch for another chance to get registered to win a free charter soon. Charters all weekend so probably early next week and we are almost at 900 likes so just a hundred to go before we give it away.
  8. What a great day. Dead calm with no boat pressure and the Kings showed up in force. Threw a few small ones back along with a couple Steelies
  9. Lots of wind today and tomorrow but back on the water Wednesday. Fish were showing up in good numbers yesterday and this wind should make it even better. Looking forward to a great end of the week. Fish have been best in 50-150, 20-70 down with regular Stingers and Stingrays in UV Blue Veggies still our best bait. Flashers/Flies and Meat Rigs are all taking fish.
  10. The word is that the Kings are getting closer and hopefully will be around for the weekend. We followed up our 5-7 morning with another short 5-7 morning the next day still fishing near the harbor. Heard some decent catches and some warm water on the shelf last night and better catches farther south. Should be a great week and we have several days open so give us a shout
  11. No pics today but there are still a few fish around. The mother load has not yet arrived but should very soon. Today we managed 5 for 7 before three of our customers decided they didn't feel well enough to continue at 7:30. We will continue with a couple of the hearty ones in the morning for another try
  12. Had a great time this morning and had to leave a bit early with the rain coming in but the girls managed to land 6 out of 8 and my freezer is looking good.
  13. Great pic from the other morning. Heading out in the AM to try to put some fish in MY freezer for a change
  14. Kings started to show up decent today if you were in the right place. Spent the first two hours in the wrong place and still ended up with a good charter. Should be a great weekend for the Onekama tournament
  15. Still a bit slow today with a couple nice Kings and a couple Browns. It was a gorgeous day on the lake and had a great time. Stayed around the harbor while a couple guys went to the shelf. The guys on the shelf had a couple fish so not great yet but soon.
  16. Headed out tomorrow and Friday so hopefully more Kings are showing up every day. Don't forget one we hit 1,000 likes we will be giving away a charter and we are over half way there from where we started but keep sharing and like any of the posts including this one that mentions the free charter to be given away to be entered.
  17. Well tomorrow will be spent helping to get ready for Tight Lines. We will spend the day at Sengs Marina and about 5 pm veterans will start to arrive for registration and dinner. It is going to be a great time again and if you are able stop down along the river on Sat about 12:30 and wave a flag. They are available from the many volunteers of Rolling Thunder stationed along the boardwalk.
  18. Great first charter and the fishing was fantastic. Only problem was the catching was not nearly as good. Flat seas made for an unexpected smooth ride and lots of boats and fog. Water was clearer and colder today and the bite much slower but managed 5 fish to make sure everyone go to catch one.
