Squeezed in a coupla hrs with a bud for my first trolling trip of the season of Lake O found a pocket of warm colored water & we got a coupla these... things are only going to get better in the coming weeks!

this is how i run my Sub Troll Probe Walker release (same as Blacks) then 8" length to my clip to my Probe then I run a Scotty rigger snubber bewteen the probe & the ball... sometimes Ill run a release off the ball or I will use the top Walker release, depends on what Im running & such of course....

gotta agree with Skein early June & mid-late August sucked even though i was not out much this past season, the Chrome Green Dolphin Spin Doctor was a good producer for me as far as "new" baits go

I am a huge Hendricks fan, but I am glad Newman won as opposed to Kurt Busch or any of the Toyotas. Newman's an alright guy & was long overdue for a big win.

I am a Hendricks kinda guy - any of 'em would be fine by me...

in a few weeks the "list" of things to get on my boat should be complete, weather pending, I hope to be out in early March look'n for trout

I have a bud who has done well with spoons behind Spinnys both off riggers & Divers

never did accurately measure my biggest one... came from shore back in '97 - looking back on it now... maybe 36-37lbs? 27 was my best this past season... a big brown is my hit list now....

hey everyone great looking site... see a few familiar names/faces here... name is Mark and "freetime" (16.5 Crestliner) is my boat. After almost 10 years off, Ive been getting back into great-lakes trolling the past few seasons with much enthusiasm. I mostly fish the Niagara-to-Oakville area of Lake Ontario with the occassion trip to Erie look forward to learning from others here & contributing when I can!
