Mine is a 26 Pursuit. Looking to try and incorporate a top by mounting it under the arch.

A haywire like I posted with a shrink tube would work than?
yes but I dont do as many twist, its maybe an inch long at the most. The shrink tube keeps the ends from getting bunched up. Then on the leader side I use a trilene not
-
we put it through the swivel, put 6 twist on it. Then the same to the backer, then cover with shrink tube. The haywire holds fine, but the ends tend to fray, the shrink tube gets rid of that

I had many problems with the Haywire twist this year. Fraying at the end and not going through the eyelets or the reel when fighting a fish! changed everything to a spros swivel and no problems. Would never haywire anything again!

Looks good John, I was looking to see if I could get the top to work with the arch we have. I would have to have front supports for that though.
-
What was the damage on that John? Our top is shot on ours and looking at going to a hardtop!

Run a 300 copper to get a lot deeper!

we run all 45lb. easier to do the math when you run all the same! this year our 300 and 450's were on fire!

Nice buck Ed!!!! We've been letting little bucks go for a few years now but our problem is our neighbors in the back shoot everything. putting food plots in this year to try and keep them on our side of the fence.

If it were me, and I will be there tommorow. I would go straight out and drop in at 150 fow. outside the nets. Troll west and find your best water. Last weekend we stayed at the pier heads and pulled 3. Then ran to 150 and went west, we picked at them all the way to 350. was at the dock at 11. we went 11 for 16. Best spoons were stinger freakin veggies on 150 copper,150 copper with craigs x-mas reverse, 75 copper with stinger inmate, rigger with 11" white pro troll with 36" lead to uv oceana fly @ 100 back 100 down. 300 copper with double glow silver horde plug, full core with stinger orange edge gator, and rigger with stinger uv monsoon @ 85 down.
