we split all cost, hotel, gas, food, etc. We have a 4 man team, and all winnings are split in 5's the boat gets one!
-
we talk to some pro boats and some am boats also. we just choose what to share. last year we gave gps to a pro boat that was short on steelhead. they dropped in and hit 5! i think thats how good relationships are made, but its all fun!!

I added a radar arch with 8 rocket launchers. Lowerance radar, and going to get 8 more rod and reels set up just for walleye fishing. We added 4 more core rods and 4 more copper rods.
-
We usually change all our mono after every tournament, depending on the catch. Leadcore we change once a year, unless needed. We are running 25lb P-Line.
-
We run 9 rods all the time you get the lead core away from the boat and your good. One thing we did later in the year was replace the center rigger with a mono dipsey. it makes it easier to land fish. we run 4 leadcores 2 wires and 2 riggers, with a dipsey down the chute. this year we are adding 2 copper rods

JJ Mac, i have a 26' Pursuit with a single i/o. I have a Raymarine that mounts on the steering wheel, I cant remember the number, but every so often it will just quit and turn to the right. Would that be the gyro?
-
the odds arent very good! They say that one out of three people will fall from a tree stand in their lifetime!
-
I run three batteries, but we took the center rigger off and only run two now. There are so many other options to run. I think we caught the majority of our fish on wire and lead core this year, also it is easier to keep the chute clear or have a dipsey rod that can be easily moved to net a fish.

The trailer is 8' 6".

no, I had on tell me though, that they have bigger fish to fry, and as long as your truck doesnt say "Bobs boat hauling" that they wouldnt mess with you
-
my pursuit is 9'6 beam. We haul it to all the tourneys! I bought my trailer a Zinners marine in utica. its a triple axle aluminum trailer, i think it was only $5000. Let me know if you want the number!
-
did you get a trailer also?

How about "Balls Deep"!!

Im boycotting fishlander spoons, and actually anything that says it. In the Pro/Am in Frankfort, the fishlander pro boat cut behind me and took all my lead core out. This was after i called on the radio and said i had core out and was fighting 2 fish. I lost all the core 2 fish and 4 lures. I will never buy anything from them again! So Dreamweaver all the way!!

We fished the Ludington tournament last weekend. We arrived Wed night so we could pre-fish the kids tourney. We didnt set poles on thursday, untill noon due to some weather issues (lightning), But we went 3 for 6 in only an hour and a half. For the kids tourney we were going to run to Manistee for some colder water, but ended up at the s.w. corner of the nets. We banged three fish right away, one was a big fish so we pulled rods to let jr. fight it. After a good fight and about 45 min. Derrick boated a 15.85 lb king. We picked a few more fish up at the point, and wore derrick out. The kids have to fight every fish!! We then ran south and got right into the steelhead. We boated a 7 lb steelie and lost 2 others. We also Boated a laker. So as Mark (Ajusted 3) put it we have a plan of attack! Well we had a north blow, and Sat we went 3 for 6, and it got worse. The fish quit about 8 am and we couldnt get it going. Sunday was about the same we went 2 for 6 right away then nothing. The good part was we took 16th in the kids tourny and he won a savings bond! Thanks again Mark for your help this weekend

I do alot of duck hunting. Last year i hunted 46 days of the season, including goose season. I get my buck during bow season, and only hunt opening day of gun, then its back to the water.

We fished in front of luna pier, Sat and Sun., we stayed in 12 to 13 fow and pulled our 4 man limits in 1 1/2 hrs on Sat and 2 hrs on Sun. Any stingers in red or purple worked. Have fun the bite is on.
