  1. Hey everyone we want to thank you for another awesome and busy year. That's 2 years in a row we had to shut down the website for a bit in the summer to catch up. I think next year we might just close it for the summer or a big part of it. Most all of the money either goes back into BW or goes to helping dogs so it makes it hard to close when helping dogs means so much to us. Shannon, Don, etc you guys get with us for your tourneys next year. We get busy and forget what the hell were doing sometimes  Also we had guys working hard on something new for 2014 that we just got it were we wanted it to be so we are excited about that. Again thanks so much and keep in touch, BW

  2. Our new cut bait head and rigs were tested last night and this morning. Chris from Hillbilly charters and Aaron from lake shore out fitters in Saugatuck ran them and landed most of their fish with them:thumb:. Dan is testing them in Whitehall today. Looks like maybe next week we will have some ready to go to match the 10 inch weeniers. These will be made for the small strips and in great color combos( Look at the 10 in weeniers ) on our site. XXX glow and UV, Gamakatsu hook made here in MI etc Thanks guys as always, BW

  3. Here is a email from this morning. Running our rigs is pretty simple. I know a lot of callers say they are a bit scared they will be hard to run, its just not true. Not much harder than a flasher fly combo at all. Thanks guys BW

Comments : Just wanted to say thanks for a great product and friendly service. I have never tried meat rigs here in NY on Lake Ontario but I wanted to try them out. I ordered a bunch from you last month and gave em a try this past weekend. Worked great and had a blast, much easier than I had read. Biggest king of 7 was a bit over 26lbs and was caught mid day when most others had returned to port. Thanks again and rest assured that I will be stocking up with more for the fall!

  4. Depends on how big of herring. With the rubber stop its easy to just hook the herring and bend it to fit the contour of the head. The rubber holds the hooks in place. If its under 6 inch you should be fine. Might help with the strips very soon :):):) stay tuned, thanks guys, BW

  5. Whole Herring Blue Label and Whole Herring Green Label 12 packs in stock

This just in from the outdoorsman in Jenison MI. Perfect for our bait rigs and just in time for the tourneys. Everyone is always asking about whole bait, BW

  6. South Haven fishing league this weekend, Sent 10 new 10 inch flasher fly combos, Shannon thought 8 to 10 boats.

Saugatuck they are raising money for breast cancer, sent stuff to Aaron at Lakeshore wish I had more details but super busy check with him on what they are doing.

Muskegon, Jeff from Rays mini mart has a new fly for everyone we donated, he is putting in the capt bags for this weekends tourney. You can also purchase a matching flasher ( very limited ) at the mini mart.

Salmon a rama has combos for port prizes, that starts this weekend I think, and Stuff will go out to KD salmon slam tomorrow.

You guys support us and we try and help the fishery and tourneys. Good luck and Look for a special shirt for sale to raise money for a weenie rescue group in Det soon. They help tons of dogs, not just wieners. Facebook either Big weenie brand or brutus rat for more info Thanks everyone, BW

  7. Some where around 60" is right like these guys said. One reason we went with the adjustable flies/squids besides no crimp to weaken the line was that guys like to run them all different ways. I have guys that tell me from the head to first fly 18 to 24 inchs then 10 to 12 inchs between the flies/squids. We try and go 12 to 14 inchs between everything then let you adjust for your liking but like Ryan said if it is working your good. Feel free to call if you like, 616 233 0618, BW

  8. Thanks to all who came by the booth and for all the purchases. We had by far our biggest show yet so you guys must be ready to fish. Look for new stuff soon and good luck, Big Weenie

  9. It is one fly it is a blend of the 2 flies mentioned. Better hook ups, 2 Gamakatsus hooks, the treble and single give you great hook ups compared to just a treble. Not a big fly actually a super thin tinsel, BW

  10. We will have a few new UV fishscale combos like this, Silver Poofster UV combo. That fly has bright flashes of blue, silver, mirage in the water. Arctic blast and Poofster had a kid;) Silver pearlized fishscales with the tape that was so hot last year. They look better in person, those dont take a good pic at all. We will have them at the shows. Thanks guys, BW

  11. Black light works. If something looks clear take it out in the sun you will get a blueish edge if its UV. Glow hold it out in the sunlight or under a light for a min then cup it or hold it in the dark some place. I will try and find a pic, BW

The stuff that lights up is the UV we mold in our bait heads, beads and bullet heads, this is what regular UV looks like under a black light. Fish can see UV we cant without help so they say, BW

  12. Once again buy a box of girl scout cookies get a free unrigged fly from Lily. The new Lily Pad fly she came up with. Get them at the Jons little salmon booth while supplies last (72) UV bullet head and super flash on this on. Thanks guys, BW

  13. The 949 white back ground is pretty thick. Not sure it is a good choice for spoons.Tapes that are not a problem on something big can be hard to get to stick on something as small as a spoon. Dont think you would notice the differance between 948 and 949 looks wise. The others you list should bend very easy on a spoon. Other brands of tape I would be real careful using on a spoon. Buy a small amount first. They dont all stick the same. I have no interest in WTP just my thoughts from trial and error, BW

  14. What ever you guys can come up with we are happy to help. I dont want to try and tell you guys anything about how to do it you guys I am sure can come up with something good. I bet we could come up with some kind of trophy if you want, BW

  15. Glad to do it. Sometimes I get confused on which is what and who is running what but no big deal as Karen says I am confused all the time:) Maybe we can come up with a way to have a winner out of the 3 for a prize at the end of the year also. Something like best 5 fish in 1 tourney or something. Any ideas? BW
