  1. I was coming thru the channel and was pulled over by the Coast guard, I never realized it but my light was out in front, they asked what was wrong, I jump up and fixed it real quick, they didn't ask for anything else, they wished us a safe trip.

It is very nice when they do not mess with you.

  2. I took a friend out last night and his 13 yr old son. We started about 7:30pm in 110ft took a 10lber right off the bat, Our next fish came at 10pm 133 ft water 70 down.

There were a cluster of boats in about 150 but I didn't want any of that action last night, as boats were already screaming about their led core.

1st fish came on NBK(my hottest spoon this year)

    2nd fish on All glow

    ended up 2 for 5

  4. What a great morning to be on the lake, we started south of the channel in 60 ft of water and trolled south to the nets and stayed right in that area for the next 2 hours. We took 6 fish out of 9 hits. We had an accrobatic Steelie bust us off after 5 good minutes of leaps and bounds. Right after that we only had 3 rods down, 2 dipseys and 1 rigger when the right side dipsey went off, I grab for the net and the left Dipsey went. Soon as I set the hook the rigger goes off and its 3 fish vs. 2 guys and guess what we won. The fish on the rigger swam with us until I was ready to reel it in. It was great morning, and by the sounds of it everyone had some sort of success.

I can't begin to name all the spoons, 6 fish on 6 different spoons, I know 2 of the sppons were green and Blue dolphin and 2 came on glow spoons with blue ladder back design.

60 ft of water the surface temps were in the 68-69 degree range a lot of boats radio'd success in the 90-110 range as well. I'll be out tomorrow morning for another shot at glory.
