  1. Im not retired, im only 28, i dont fish otta augres, and i can only fish on the weekends being i work 50 hours a week but i sure have been putting the hurt on the eyes since i was a boy, and i could bring alot to the table, keep me in mind.

Luke, I know you can and would be a welcome addition.:thumb: The only problem I seldom fish weekends.

  2. I'm looking for a fishing partner that likes to fish a few times a week. The ideal person will be retired and willing to help with expenses. I have all the equipment necessary. I fish mostly the weekdays out of Au Gres.:) I have several good people that I fish with now and will continue to do so. I like to have 4 people onboard every trip. I never fish alone and two of us can get it done but 3 is better and 4 is ideal.:)

  3. Welcome and thanks for the report. I think I might drag the boat with me to work one day next week and hit Linwood in the morning after I get out. I'm glad to see a few reports from that area as it saves me from having to drive up to Au Gres and follow Frank around!

Nick, I can do you better than that. Just drive the car over and fish.:) Ya know you are always welcome.:)

  4. Three of us took twelve nice fish in 30-35 FOW. We started deeper where we left off Fri and trolled to another deep water location with little action and a few fish. We pulled lines and made a move to 32 FOW and got rewarded with 6 quick fish. We ended the trip drifting with our tail to the wind pulling 8 Offshore boards with two oz bouncers and one rod over the side with 3 oz. Red, Black and chrome was best color.

Bouncers and meat. Use your graph and put it in their face. Color????????? the fish don't care. Speed 1-1.5 MPH.:) Think deep and the fish will weep. Thanks to Tom T. for helping me show my Son, DIL, and grandson Alex a good time. It's child's play on da bay. 25 fish limit box with a bonus perch Gotta Love it. We had 7 of our best fish before we could get set up. No need to run the full spread so we stopped setting with ten lines in. Tight Lines. Gotta go fish on. Priority 1 on the side on 68 out.

  6. Yes to both. Mike will post info on the City Campground and Boats can be slipped at Northport Marina.:) Let me know if ya need any help.:)

Anyone interested in my laptop GPS system would be welcome aboard to view it first hand. There were many skeptics including yours truly but after a couple of years of use I'd do it again. This system is great for larger boats with big dashboards.

Since this is my home port I'll have a gift for all captains attending.

  7. Same program different day. Four man limit. 2 oz bouncers and meat off the boards and 3 oz off the sides. Color didn't matter. Speed was 1.2-1.6 MPH. We probably caught 40 walleye. I'm hoping to get out again tomorrow with my son, DIL, and grand kids. Tomorrow the kids rule and if we catch a few and and get some smiles that will be good enough for me. Thanks to Tom T. Paul R. and Joe R. for joining me. Tom T. will be helping me tomorrow if the weather cooperates. :) TG for what we have going in this great state. I hope none of us ever take it for granted.

  8. Nice job! Heading over that way tomorrow to take my dad fishing. Just not sure if I should go to linwood or drive further to Au Gres? Did you just head straight out till you hit the deep water or start further north or south? What size BB?

We were a little South. 2 oz bouncers off the boards and 3 oz bouncers off the sides.:) If you are closer to Linwood check and see how they are doing. The only reason I fish Au Gres is it's my closest port. I run all over the bay.:)

  9. The over the hill gang put it to some eyes this morning. 33-41 FOW. Bouncers and meat with every flavor taking fish. 1.4 MPH. Chartreuse, Glows, Purple, and Red. We generally pull 12 lines but today we couldn't keep even 10 in the water. We must have threw back 15 future keepers and kept these. Some fish are hitting aggressively but most are not. You have to be on your toes. I'm looking for a another regular fishing partner that is willing to fish 3-4 days a week. We trolled S and picked up a little over half a limit and turned around and got the rest. We would have ended with bigger fish but the older gent in the middle got us off track by a 1/2 a mile on the return trip. He does his best and is always welcome.
