I'll be playing in Frankfort this eve and tomorrow morning.

I was starting to get a crew up for some Monday walleye whacking, when the first person I called made me an offer I couldn't refuse. His uncle was looking for some hands, to fish Frankfort. Priority1 get a needed rest in the garage.

Way to get em Tom.

Channel 16 is the CG channel or for hailing any emergency. A lot of anglers monitor 68. Some will call on that channel and switch to less used channels to talk. The VHF radios get way OVERUSED. I have witnessed conversations that went on for over 1/2 hour. A boat in distress is the only reason to tie up channel for more than a minute or 2.

Jim, Way to gitter done in adverse conditions. A wet A$$ never bothers a real fisherman.

Hi Frank,
Way to nail them!
Hopefully I can make it out this weekend.
Take Care
Bill, A warm welcome to the GLF site. It's been awhile since we fished together. Give me a call and maybe we can gitter done again.

SeaMac aka Mike R, Adam, Tom T. aka TallTails, Nick aka The Anvil, and I fished out of AuGres today. It has been since last Wed since I have been out. I had been running south for a quite a few weeks, but decided to check out some Northern waters. We started in 15-17 FOW and didn't box a fish in about 2 hrs. We pulled lines and made a major move to 28 FOW. We boxed 11 in an hours time then slowly picked up 14 more fish. It was a pleasure fishing with the GR gang. Tom T. is a regular aboard the Priority1 and is also a pleasure to fish with. 2 oz bouncers off the boards and 3 oz bouncers over the side with a variety of home tied harnesses, baited with the real deal. 1.5 MPH was our best speed. The Grand Rapids connections are welcome back anytime. Hang in there and gitter done.

GJ Doug, At least you got another guy hooked on our sport. That 20# screamer was a good baptism of fire.
