Congrats on the new ride.

Nice Pic.

Nothing like pics of sleeping kids. They're all so angelic when they're down for a snooze. The one of the sleeping bros could win a contest.

Nature is beautiful no matter what face she has on.

your right frank , that old islander has done me right from the day i got it , i would like glass and about 24 ft., or a 26 islander hard top , like the red eye.
Last I knew Red Eye had a 22 HT. If you do look at some of the 26 Islanders be careful on the engine. Starcraft powered a lot of these with huge 4 cyl Mercruiser engines, with closed cooling systems. Some of these were prone to trouble. It's a great time to upgrade. Lots of toys for sale. GL in your search.

Congrats Jay. Way to hang in there and gitter done.

Keep on him Jay. No one likes to injure any fish or game. It's a gut wrenching feeling for sure. I hope you find him.

This is probably a pretty good economic barometer.

well the bow opener was good to me got in the stand a 4 and got things set up and wait. About 5:30 i seen a buck 250 yards away it look like a small 4, as i was watching him i looked over a seen a big ol doe heading my way and 35 yards she came in to 6-7 yards. if that dont get your heart pounden then nothin will she fed around the apple trees for 5 mins then walked off. thats all i seen for the nights hunt as i was getting out i heard a pac of coyotes yellin i thought was 300 yards away or so. what a great hunt it was better than doing homework lol
Matt, You better tackle that homework. You'll need to land a good job to support your habits. I'm glad you were able to make it out there this eve.

GJ and thanks for the report.

-
Matt, I like your shopping list.

-
GJ Bob. I like doing projects like that. I can make just about anything. Way to hang in there and gitter done.

the only thing im going to upgrade is the DOG ITSELF , ive fished her for 8 years and its time to upgrade.
Terry, The old dog did you well. Any thoughts yet about size or models?? Make sure you find a good home for that old dog.

The Trees: They are the cat's meow for running boards. I have run my 4 rod trees for two seasons, and don't know how I ever managed without them.

The riggers are Cannons. I want the rod holders to be able to swivel out, back, and maybe even in for travel.
-
I have 2 Big Jon Ball Cradles with a pair of Multi Set Rod holders on them ordered. I'm going to be removing my out and down riggers while trolling for walleye. Even with the out and downs pointed back, they are in the way some times. I seldom run riggers for walleye, but I'll still have the two inside ones if I need to use them. I will mount the rod holders on the two swivel bases. This new set up will open up the corners. Of course I'll keep the out and downs for salmon fishing. You all know Priority1 is not short of rod holders.
I'm a firm believer that you can't have too many of them. This was a suggestion of a good friend Tom T. aka TallTails. It's time for upgrades. What are your off season purchases going to be?
I would like to get a chart plotter sonar combo. Any suggestions on them?? Don't go too nuts, ya know I'm a Po Boy.

ok im havin trouble with the offshore or12s i run them on zero and they dont take them out to the side like i want them to. there running more back instead of out and i thought it was becuz it was a 10 color but it was the same way with the 3 and 5s, could use some imput. i would like to use them i found both of them in the same year a port and starboard.
Matt, I run some OR12s for walleye and have used them pulling core for salmon. I'm not sure what you mean be a zero setting on them. I also have a pair of the OR31s that were designed for salmon and steelhead. If I'm running long cores I'll have them on the Offshore OR31s. I use the OR12s for the shorter cores, so I get double duty out of them. Frank:)
