  1. I gave u info on torpedo diver and since have noticed that u have a dive bomb The info that seacatmich gave u is the suggested way to use a dive bomb. Sorry about that.
  2. Here are 2 websites that will give u more info on LO. www.Spoonpullers.com and www.lakeontariounited.com.
  3. If you are fishing lake Ontario keep your braid backing. If u change to mono u will not be able to get enough line on for the larger salmon that are in LO. having a board will separate your lines better but if you are only running 2 rods you should be ok. Torpedo divers has a chart on their website and they advise u to attach the torpedo where the copper and backing connect together and the chart tells u hoh much backing you need to let out to get to a certain depth. This will get u deeper than attaching it to the 1st 1/3 of your copper. This is another good reason to use a braid backing.
  4. Blacks are one of the easiest to use and adjust

  6. I run 8" most of the time. Mountain de emerad green and crush are the colors i use most. Chris
  7. I like to run my spoons fast. 2.7 down speed is where i start and i will increase this up to 3.5 if things are slow. I learned this dragging sreamers for landlocks when u think u are going to fast speed up. i have found that sometimes 2.7 down speed is 3.5 to 4.0 gps or it could be 2.0 gps. chris
  8. For 15 yrs i have been using a single tru turn hook on all my spoons, I keep them sharp and i keep my drags firm. Works for me. Chris
  9. I learned 20 years ago while spring fishing for landlocks that if u run the lead core on the tip it will weaken and break at that point. Coated leadcore stands up a little better. chris
  10. I Like to run dodgers and squid when i am fishing deep. I will run 4- 8 inch dodgers with glow squid (i like glow green squid) with spoons stacked 7 to 10 feet above the dodgers. Dodgers are 5 ft behind the ball with the squid 12 to 24 inches behind the dodger. Sometimes this can be deadly. I have never run them behind a flasher. chris
  11. Hi Guys I hav'nt fished lake Ontario for 10 years but now have some time to do it. I am looking for a place to rent in the Olcott, Wilson or Youngstown area for the first week of Sept. If anyone knows of a place i would apreciate the info. I would be fishing the bar most of the time so the closer the better. Thanks Chris
