  1. have the following two dipsy diver rods for sale. The action on these is almost identical so they work great to create a well balanced spread or to pair as the high diver rod in a double diver setup on both sides of the boat and get the same separation on both sides. The action is very similar to a Shimano Talora.

1 - Gander Mountain Advantage Dipsy Diver rod, GMA - 1002CH-DD 10'0" Heavy Action / Line WT. 12-30lb / Lure WT. 3/8-3/4 OZ --> 2 piece rod, Twili Tip added, seen 3 years of use but has plenty of life left. All guides are in good shape with no damage.

1 - Okuma Big Lake Tournament Series, BLT-DD-1002MH 10'0" Braided Line: 20-40lbs, Monofilament line: 10-30lbs --> 2 piece rod, Twili tip added, used just last year, only hase 20 trips on it. One guide was damaged due to user error but this has since been replaced.

$60 picked up for the pair or $75 shipped CONUS to your door. Payment via PayPal if shipping.

  2. 2004 Aquasport Explorer 215, T-Top, 200hp outboard with 9.9 kicker. First 3 pics are from the original listing, but I've since added three adjustable rod holders from Fish On Sports on each side of the T-Top support bars for running planer boards. You can see those in the fourth pic taken from an afternoon of just cruising with some buds.

  3. I picked up a 21.5' Aquasport Explorer this past June, it's a 2004, and I've loved it so far. While I was researching what to get, I wanted something in the 21-23' range with an outboard and kicker motor and small 2 person cabin. Wellcraft, Aquasport, and Proline were all very similar layouts and hull designs. Ours takes big water very well so I'd assume the others would too.

  4. That's an interesting idea, would be much easier to deploy the bait and like you said don't have to worry about divers bouncing around on the rods. The only concern I have is I'm struggling to see how the fish hitting the bait would trip the diver in that configuration. It looks like it would just pull on the carabiner in the direction of locking the trip arm into place, or does the bouncing rod trip the arm as it absorbs the shock from the fish hitting? How often have you had to trip the diver by "setting the hook" after you grab the rod with that setup? Interesting idea either way

  5. We switched to slide divers and run 30' leads on our low divers and 50' leads on our high divers. We just can't seem to get flasher/flies on short leads to fire, lengthening the leads with the slide divers solved that problem. I think it allows the flasher to do a larger diameter rotation giving the fly a better action and allowing meat rigs to roll properly at higher trolling speeds allowing you to cover more ground. Our best presentation on divers with short leads has always been glow plugs later in the summer in low light conditions or down really deep, this seems to work well for us on mature Kings so sometimes I'll mix one of those in come August. Oh and Coho's don't seem to care either way. In the early spring.

  6. 1- 10' Okuma Big Lake Tournament Series diver rod with twili tip. Used one season for about 20 trips. One guide had the insert come out but the rod is still under the 5 year warranty so it could easily be replaced.

1 - 10' Gander Mountain Advantage series diver rod with twili, very similar action and construction as the Okuma, 5 years old but really only used consistently the last couple years. Still in very good shape and no issues with the rod.

$90 - NOW $70 for the pair pick up in the Grand Rapids area. Will ship at the buyers expense.

  7. 2 - 9' Okuma Big Lake Tournament Series Dipsy Diver Rods with Twili Tips. One rod is about 4 inches shorter than the listed size due to a broken tip that was repaired. These were purchased new last spring and used on about 20 trips this past season, they are in very good shape. These retail for $70 each without the Twili tips but I'll let the pair go for $100. Pick up in the Great Grand Rapids area or possibly St. Joseph or Kalamazoo since I'm down there for work every couple weeks.

2- Big Jon Sideliner rattling planer boards. No releases included. $25 shipped or $20 picked up in the Grand Rapids area.

[SOLD] 3 - 500yd spools of 50lb Power Pro in Moss Green. These are brand new and unopened. $90 shipped or pickup in the Grand Rapids area.
