Welcome Capt. Al glad to have you aboard
-
Capt John
Great time to come to the bay last year the inner bay was on fire in July. The fish will move north to deeper water as the water warms up. Last year the first week of July we were running 10 miles to get fish but the limits came fast, we average 60-70:grin: per trip including throw backs. I will be in Linwood until the middle of the week of the 12th. Then its back to Manistee so if your in Linwood look me up my slip # is J12

In 2008 I got caught up in one of those indian nets wrap the rope around both shafts bent both shafts and supports. I called freemont they sent a adjuster out in 3 days OK'd the work with no Q's asked. Thats is the only time I needed to make a claim.

Had a great day on the water with some great weather for a change had a great crew today 10/03/2009 with them going 16 for 19
with 2 being lakers that were let go. Caught 4, 3 year old kings biggest being over 14 lbs and the rest were steelhead we fished
a little south in 200- 350 fow the kings coming 80 down with a white paddle with KRW Day Break Fly and the steelhead
coming on mostly leadcore with orange spoons 2-3-4-5-colors. The boat will be in the water for about 2 1/2 weeks yet so
there is still time to get in on this action before the end of fishing

I put a good quality barrel swivel, then 24" behind that a good quality ball bearing swivel then connect to the flasher. I run this set up on all rigger, copper and lead core rods and get no line twist.
