what a great day for a shake down cruase went out at first light about 7:00 and run down to the pump house and set up trolled south to the a frames in 15 -20 feet of water whith only 2 fish and 3 hit but when we got there i could see a color line in obout 40 feet so we went out there and as soon as we hit 44 ft we had a tripple 2 coho and a 17.9 lb king we messed around there for about 3 more hours and ended the day 14 for about 21 1 lakere that went back 13 coho 1 of which went back by mistake the best baits where a gold and red thin fish and a number j7 gold and org. rap. also a chartruse long a bomber on boards the king came on a fire cracker d.w. on a rigger in 44 f.o.w. 42 down also lost 2 more that fought like kings that we never seen as the drag just sceamed and the fish let go this makes 34 fish in 3 weekends for use

kept mine at carls storage in burnip mi. it was 240 for 6 months inside

i am just woundering if any one can tell me if a ready core or a full core will fit on a okuma 45 dx becouse i dont want to go and by a ready core if it will not fit

just got done cleaning fish ,went to pine lake this morning and cought a nice limet of 11 to 14 inch crappies.most where on tube jigs in smoke colore with a 1/32 oz jig ,my2 doughters must have cought 50 or 60 between the 2 of them on minnows and bobbers .well of to st joe in the morning to bad i cant talk my partners in to the brown bast

should be up around here in about 2 weeks and up north around the first of may look in the poplar trees and apple and cheris

what a great day to take off from work started out on the rabbit in hamilton this morning about 6:15 had a limet of stealys by 8:30 and released 2 more the only reson i stoped fishing isbecouse i ran out of wax worms came home and had lunch and went to pine lake in barry co. and cought a nice limet of crappies in the 10 to 13 inch range to bad i got to go back to work tomorow:o

how much backing do you let out to get a half core and 4 oz do to the depth of a full core

i also yous this system that oakly is tooking aboat it is what the walley guys use for crawler harnsses just put the swivele on the rubber hook wind the leader on and hold it on with a rubber band no tangle and comes off really nice

i do it like some of you other guys i find out what way the current is going and head staight into it and only turn when the rods stop popin this must work this was 4 staight summers with out a skunk and at least 7 fish in the box ever day
