Where r they north/south what fow I've also heard there r a couple of break away nets just curios where u saw em thinking with this water fish will b in tight 50 to 80 ft just my guess but shouldn't b any nets that short or mayb I'm wrong will keep eyes peeled thanks let me know if ya get out I will do the same thanks again!

Hi guys well its finally here got my kids /boats all ready heading out of Muskegon let the 2wk adventure begin! I would like to humbly ask for input on where to start fow and depths down and what's hot what ever u are willing to share would be greatly aprecuated since I havent been able to get out and I have the kids and I really want to put them on fish and get em hooked on the big lake thanks in advance for those who reply ! I will post as regular as I can over the next two weeks while we won't be out each day we will b out a lot and hopefully I cam repay with day to day info for u great folks

I'm not sure if they do that every night weekends yes and of course ya got coast guard fest starting this weekend next Saturday is the big fireworks display ussually a pretty cool firewok show shot em from the hill by musical fountains u can see em from out on the lake its pretty cool

That's such a great peir to fish fished it all my life. 40 sum yrs I'm guessing you where on the south pier do you know Tall Todd was he out there best friend since kids fish a ton with him haven't talked in a couple yrs if ya know who Talking about and most that fish the south pier do tell him I said hi gotta get in touch miss fishing with him. Fish and saved on gas ! Thanks for the report! Won't be on water until Tuesday we' see what she does before then! Supose to stay chilly so I expect the same, fish in shallow!

My name is Jeff new to the site been reading a lot of post on here over the past couple of weeks keeping up on the big lake I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who post fishing reports I haven't been able to get out yet this year and my first trip for the year is going to be a big one! This will be the first year in 5 yrs since my divorce that I will get to take my 4 kids out salmon fishing this will be thier first trip ever on the big lake fishing so its a really big deal we are going for two weeks starting July 29th out of Muskegon I just can't express my gratitude to all of you for sharing vital info to help this guy see his kids catch their first salmon off my boat (we fished the piers for yrs when they where little they have all caught salmon except my little girl). They are super excited and needless to say so am I but again my sucess in memories for a life time are going to come in part thanks to all of you.!!! I will share any and info I have as the trip unveils and post some pics as well. So you all can see the dreams you helped make come true. Sorry for the long post. Do glad I found this site!!! Thankyou all again!!! I go by fresh water warrior on the water if ya happen to be out next week or week after
