  1. I have the exact same boat and replaced the flooring about 5 years ago. It took a week but the floor is still solid. I cut the deck at the stairs to the cabin to allow a full sheet to be used. I also cut the drain and supply line to the live well in the engine box and spliced it back together when done. The screws to hold the deck down I got from ACE Hardware (large head and self tapping). I did not carpet the deck. Replaced it with the same material that was on the floor. It washes down alot easier than carpet. While I was in there I also replaced the fuel tank supply and vent line. If I filled the tank full I always had gas fumes. Found the vent line was trapping gas in a loop and then when the tank heated it leaked at the vent.
  2. Fished from 3:00pm to 5:00pm went 3/3. All were 2 year old fish. Fished from 65 to 70 FOW in a small area around bait fish. All fish came on riggers 60ft down on three different spoons.
  3. Fished from 12:00pm to 6:00pm. Went 2 for 3, one laker and one king. The laker came on a blue and green stinger, 65 feet down in 85 FOW. The king came on a gold and orange spoon, 35 feet down in 65 FOW. Started in 45 FOW, marked a lot of fish, but did not see one caught. Pulled up and moved to 80 FOW. Marked a lot less fish so we trolled in from 90 FOW. Water temperature was 70 degrees on the surface and dropped to 52 degree at 40 feet. Lost one big fish, hooks pulled after 15 minutes of fighting. Never did gain line. That fish was on a dipsy set on 3 100 feet back with a bloody nose fly and a green spin doctor.
  4. The dipsy had a chome dodger with a e-chip squip on it.
  5. Got out today to test the boat. Had maintenance done to replace the ignition sensor. Last time out I had to limped in at 6 mph. At least I did not have to paddle. Fished from 9:30am to 12:30. Water was flat and the surface temp was 77 degrees. The water changed to 52 degrees at 55 feet down in 75 FOW. Fished from 70 to 80 FOW marking alot of fish. However, we ended up with only one bite, a 8 lb king on a dipsey set at 3 with a 140ft of line out. No bites on the riggers and did not see one net out. At the dock people were cleaning perch.
  6. Fished from 9:30am to 1:00pm went 4 for 7. All 2 year old kings. Water temp was 74 degrees on the surface and 42 degrees at 40 ft. Fished in 60 to 70 FOW. Most of the hits (5) were on dipsys 90 feet out set at 3 with a blue flasher and blue green fly. Riggers only took two hits on a orange and green spoon with black spots. Riggers were set at 35 feet.
  7. Fished from 10:00am to 1:00pm. At that piont the wind came up. Went 5 for 7, 3 kings, one coho and one laker. Fished from 80 to 110 FOW, with the most producive being at 90 FOW. 2 kings and the laker came on the rigger set at 80 feet. The coho and other king came on a dipsy set on 3 with 100 feet of line out. The dipsy had a chrome dodger and green e-chip squid. The rigger had a sliver streak spoon with orange. black dots and glow tape on one side.
  8. Fought the waves until the crew got sick. This did not take long. Ended up fished from 9:00am to 10:30am. Ran out to 60 FOW and set lines. Marked fish and bait so we stayed in the 55 to 65 FOW range. Picked up one steelhead about 6 lbs in 62 FOW on a dipsy set at 2 and 80 feet of line out. The lure was a chrome dodger with a e-chip green squid. Need to east wind to come back and cool the water down.
  9. Fished from 1:00 to 6:00pm today. Went 3 for 5, 2 kings and a steelhead. Fished in 55 to 65 FOW. One king came on a downrigger 50 feet down in 64 FOW on a DW monkey puke spoon. The other king and steelhead came on a dipsy with a chrome dodger and blue green fly in 55 to 58 FOW. The dipsy setting was 3 and 100 feet of line out. All the fish were large. The kings were 14 and 17lbs. The steelhead was 12 lbs.
  10. Headed out a 9:00am. Could see the pier fishermen fighting fish so we stayed in by the pier heads. Water was cold and we marked alot of fish and bait fish. Ended up 3 for 4, 2 Steelhead (10 and 14 pounds) and a small King. Two came on the downriggers and one on a high line. No hot lure, took one on a thin fin, one on pro king white with orange ladder back and one on a DW monkey puke. Quit at 1:00pm. Lots of perch fisherman out, but I don't know how they were doing. Did pick up one perch on the high line. Must have been in too shallow.
  11. Fished the afternoon 5 to 9pm. Started in 110 ft in spite of having reports of large kings on the pier heads. I was the only one on the boat so I was not up to combat fishing. Water temp was 52 degrees 40 ft down at the 110 foot level. Set downriggers at 40 and 50 ft and trolled east the whole afternoon. Ended up with two hits. One was a 10 pound king and the other was never on the hook. The king came 50 ft down in 60 feet of water on a DW monkey puke spoon. At the dock, the boat next to me had two steelhead. He started for perch but the water was too cold.
  12. Salmon have slowed so I switched to perch today. Fished from 10am to 4pm. Fished north of the piers in 30 to 40 feet of water. Did not mark any large schools of perch to start so I drifted from Rocky Gap park to south of Jean Clock park. The current was nnorth to south about 1 MPH. Took fish off and on but nothing large. Ended up anchoring just south of Jean Clock park in 40 feet of water. Continued to take perch until we ran out of bait. There was a nice cool breeze and we ended up with 30 fish 9 to 11 inches.
  13. Got out for only a couple of hours 5-7pm. Started fishing in 80 feet of water. Marked fish so I stayed in the 85 to 75 range. Ended up 1 for 1, a small laker. The fish was on the downrigger 60 ft down on a monkey puke Dreamweaver. The water temp was in the 60's down to 50 feet. At the 60 foot mark it dropped to the 50's. Looks like summer fishing is here.
  14. Got a late start. Started fishing at about 10:30am. Motored out to 80 feet of water and started fishing. Marked fish but no takers. Moved out to 100ft and the number of marked fish went down. Moved back to 80 feet and picked up a 5 pound coho, 65 feet down in 85 feet. Continued to mark fish into 60 feet of water. Had one more at the net, 44 feet down in 75 feet of water but it pulled free. Ended up 1 for 2. Both fish were on downriggers and spoons. Fished half lead core and dipsey with flasher/fly combo but no hits. NO wind so the flies were bad. Finally got too hot and sick of digging flies out of my ears and pulled lines at 2:30 pm.
  15. Fished from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Went 8 for 8. Seven Kings and one steelhead. Three of the kings were over ten pounds, the rest were in the 4 to 6 range. The three larger kings and the steelhead came on an orange and gold rapala on half core. The rest came on different spoons on the downriggers 35 to 55 feet down. We fished from 150 feet of water to 200 ft. Marked bait at 90ft down and fish from the bottom to 35 feet.
  16. Fished from 9 to noon today. Water was very lumpy and hard to fish. Went 1 for 2, a 5 pound king, on a blue dolphin 45 feet down in 140ft of water.
  17. There were bait fish but only on the bottom. The Lure was a Pro King spoon yellow, orange with black spots. The trip to Grand Haven is planned for next weekend.
  18. Fished from 11:00 am to 3:00pm to test the boat. Trolled from 70ft to 115ft. Did not mark any fish until we hit the 100 foot mark. Ended up 1 for 2 hits. One 6 lb king 30 feet down in 100ft of water.
